🔵⚪️ NKC ROUND 5 ⚪️🔵

Strong performance and points haul from the team at Warden Law for round 5 of the National Kart Cup

Some bad luck in the heats meant a few of our drivers had to start quite far down for the finals but made some mega recovery drives to still grab some good points.

Stand out performances this weekend was Tyler Rackham coming 4th in his superheat with a mega drive and Ben Baloo coming from 20th in the final to take 5th

All showed really strong pace considering it’s not a track we are too familiar with and with circuit changes we had to dig deep to get where we needed.

We head into the final round at Clay Pigeon Kart Club a circuit the team has always performed well at with the championship points very close it’s all to play for.

🔵⚪️ Gifford takes NKC Shennington victory 🔵⚪️

Another strong weekend for the team for round 4 of the

Gifford took a dominant win with a 3 second gap to second place, Baloo was 3rd on the road but received a very harsh 10 second penalty after a last lap overtake which moved him down to 19th. Howes took a respectable 15th after some strong heats scoring good points overall, Skinner gained 10 places in the final to finish 23rd after coming from the B final after crash in one of his heats.

Our Juniors had a tough weekend with crashes, penalty’s & engine issues, but Tyler Rackham came from the B final to gain 12 places in the final finishing 19th, Hunt had a Crash in the final resulting in a DNF. James Gordon made strong progress throughout the weekend after never seeing the track before and with it being his 5th ever race his progress is great to see.

Over all, a mega weekend with heat wins, final wins, fastest laps and some good points scored as we head into the final 2 rounds of the championship.

🔵⚪️ Podium & trophy haul at the heatwave cup ⚪️🔵

Mega weekend at for the heatwave cup, great drive from Ben Baloo in the final to take 3rd fighting for the win after never being at the track before. Gifford took 4th and Ethan Hunt took 5th in Junior max.

Rackham & Howes showed good pace all weekend just got unlucky with the racing in there finals.

A very positive weekend in preparation for the coming up in a couple of weeks

A very frustrating weekend at 0 plate, all drivers showed unbelievable pace in the wet and the dry conditions but luck wasn’t on our side.

Still good points for the championship and we keep our heads down focused on the same goal.

We now move our attention to the next round at where we have a pre round coming up next weekend!
