Well done to these 2 boys this week 👏

A slight change to our format last week with us playing an interval tournament to celebrate the start of the World Cup ⚽️

Mikey competed really well in the games with all the age groups playing together, but also showed real quality on the ball when he had it 👏

Jackson set the standards and tempo for both his teams (mixed games and in his own age group). Also displayed how great a team-mate he is by involving and encouraging the younger kids 👏

Everyone associated with Caithness Football Academy would like to wish Scotland the very best of luck in the World Cup

From everyone in the pre-school sessions right through to the main academy, they are super excited and supporting the team 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

One of our coaches has shared a pitch with a Scotland international playing at the World Cup on a few occasions ⚽️

Hard to say who got the better on those occasions and who went on to bigger and better things 😂

Well done to the boys this week 👏

Alex getting it for the 1st time.
He definitely is benefiting from attending the 2 sessions a week now and doing the ‘homework’ ball mastery each night ⚽️

Callum is going from strength to strength as a young goalkeeper, with his shot stopping and now his playing out from the back

Donald always trains and works very hard, and is improving the parts of his game we have been asking him to focus on

Huge well done to the kids this week 👏

Lewie finally having a bit more belief and resilience during the drills. A very talented kid, with loads of ability, now focusing in on the drills to continue his development ⚽️

Ethan is proving to have a real cutting edge and efficiency in the attacking drills and areas during games ⚽️

Fraser, who has recently joined our group, has already added parts of our beliefs and philosophy into his game, which is helping him continue to improve ⚽️

We are looking to expand our coaches for our Football Academy

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, positive people to join our coaching team working with kids aged 6–10 years old.

For us, football at this age is about more than just matches and winning. It’s about:

✅ Creating a fun, safe environment
✅ Building confidence and friendships
✅ Teaching teamwork, respect, and effort
✅ Laying the foundations to start their football journey
✅ Helping every child love the game and enjoy coming to training

You don’t need to be an expert — just someone who:
• Has a great attitude with kids
• Believes in development over results
• Wants to make a real difference in young players’ lives

A great opportunity to coach the stars of tomorrow and help build the key foundations to start their football journey

Previous coaches with us have used their experience and sessions as part of their portfolio for university and apprenticeship interviews.

It’s been a while since we posted our players of the week
We have consistently trained throughout the Easter holidays, with the kids working really hard.

We have seen big improvements in what our club believes are the key areas for the kids development at this stage.

Always pushing the standards onto the kids and they are reaping the benefits of this 👏
