A standard hectic summer holidays for our club ☀️

So busy that I kept forgetting to post our players of the week 😅

The attendance, effort and standard was consistently high throughout our all our sessions 👏
Our coaches passing more knowledge and information onto the kids, always demanding our standards remain at the highest level ⚽️

With the schools (and normality) back, we have now moved onto our next exciting phase and training 3 times each week with our main academy.
Our pre-school and P1 sessions will start next week with the full programme then in progress to build the base skills and habits for the next generation of footballers ⚽️

We also had the winners of our in-house World Cup Predictor who won a World Cup ball for their accurate predictions ⚽️⭐️

Not our usual post but something very close to us all

Both of Ellie’s brothers have previously been coaches with our club and 3 of Ellie’s nephews have come through our age groups and moved onto Caithness United.

We will be supporting this as a club and hopefully everyone can get behind this too

An amazing gesture and event for such a worthy cause

⭐️ Update to our weekly schedule ⭐️

As a club we are always looking to improve what we offer to our kids on a weekly basis.

We have added in a 3rd weekly session for our main academy kids.
The focus for us as a club will always be developing the kids through training and drills, as opposed to matches and festivals.
We feel this is the optimal approach for continual improvement and to create positive habits at the start of their football journey to set the foundation for their footballing career to progress to any level they want.

Caithness Football Academy Weekly Schedule

⚽️ Tuesday
Main Academy (P2 - P5) - 17:30 - 19:00

⚽️ Wednesday
Pre-School (3 sessions) - 14:00 - 17:00
P1s (Indoor) - 17:30 - 18:30

⚽️ Thursday
Main Academy (P2 - P5) - 17:30 - 19:00

⚽️ Sunday
Main Academy (P2 - P5) - 10:30 - 12:00

We are looking forward to working with our academy kids for 4.5 hours a week, placing our usual demands and high standards on them

The registration for the pre-school sessions will close on Sunday 30th August.

We are delighted to announce another year of pre-school football, and this may be the last year we are able to offer this ⚽️

As a club, we strive to be different and offer unique opportunities for kids within the county.
This includes not using AI to create the same posters that are everywhere 😂

We are now taking names for our 3 Pre-School sessions (aimed at 3 and 4 year olds) which we hold every Wednesday at the PPP, restarting after the summer holidays

Session 1 - 14:00 - 14:45
Session 2 - 15:00 - 15:45
Session 3 - 16:00 - 16:45

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop the basics all whilst having fun and also to join and progress into our main academy, with 12 kids moving into our P1s from these sessions

Our 2019 group has been training to a consistent high level, adding more positive habits to their games on a weekly basis.
Jonny and Lewie have improved lots in their ball mastery, skill moves and passing details 👏

Robbie has been working hard on his confidence and ex*****on in using his ‘weaker’ side for his skill moves, and improving this is really helping his attacking game 👏

Lewis has mad big improvements with his passing details, with things we’ve been asking him to work on during each session.
His improvements with his ball striking technique and his passing speed has been impressive to see 👏

Callum is developing into a very good GK 🧤
Very brave, commands his area and his positioning has shone through this week 👏

Well done to all the boys the last 2 week ⚽️

⚽️ Pre-School Graduation ⚽️

End of year party for our pre-school sessions 🎉

Lots of fun, food and most importantly… sugar!

A great way to finish off an extremely enjoyable year of Wednesday sessions!
Our pre-school sessions are filled with touches on the ball, fun and scoring lots of goals ⚽️

Some of these kids moving into P1 will join our main academy after the summer holidays.
We are looking forward to working with them at the start of their footballing journey.

The kids remaining in nursery will be back in September for another year of progressing what we’ve been developing
- confidence
- ball mastery
- dribbling
- shooting

This is our 4th year of the pre-school sessions… and we will be back for a 5th in September!Joining and waiting list instructions will be released over the summer

Huge well done to our pre-school group this year and to the 2021s who are moving onwards and upwards 💫

William and Mason having won this previously and Matthew winning it for the 1st time having only recently joined us ⚽️
The boys have been working hard in training in the final few weeks of the school year, with lots of energy and enthusiasm.
