This week, we’ve gone to the quarry… where it’s *rumoured* they mined the stone used for some of the original buildings on the Weston Park estate.

And apparently, it was also used as a shooting range. 👀

How do we know this?
Well… we don’t. 😂

As we’ve established, James and I are not the most reliable historians…

So take everything we say with a pinch of salt… but enjoy the ride anyway 🏍️🌳

Not every session is about riding flat out 👊

This one was all about slow, controlled skills —
working on balance, bike control and technique with our regular members.

With instructor Tom, a trials rider himself, there was plenty of focus on the little things that make a big difference when you’re out riding 🔥

Sometimes slowing it down is where you really improve 👌

We’ve made it our mission to learn more of the history of the grounds🪾… only problem is neither of us are very good historians📚
