IMPORTANT:
All Grove RFC Club Members paying by Direct Debit please read and action..... you may have received an email from First Sports (GMS), it is not a scam but emails sometimes land in your junk mail so please check.
The RFU has introduced a new way for members to pay their club membership monthly.
You can still pay in instalments, but the payment method has changed. Instead of paying by Direct Debit, you'll now enter your debit or credit card details when you complete your membership. Your card will then be automatically charged on the agreed instalment dates, so there's nothing further for you to do.
When renewing or purchasing your membership in GMS:
Select Pay by Instalments
Online Card will automatically be selected as your payment method
Enter your card details to set up your instalment plan
This payment process is called Online Card Tokenisation and is similar to how many everyday subscription services work, where your card is securely stored and charged automatically when payments are due.
This is an RFU-wide change and not one made by the club, the important thing is that if you already have a Direct Debit set but no card securely stored on your GMS profile no payments can be taken after the 31st August, so you will need to action this quickly.
The membership prices have not changed and the monthly payments will remain the same, please keep your payment date the same.
