Schools Festival June 1-7 and Open Weekend June 6-7 2026

Next week Coach Andy Aitken and AATennis have a busy time with the Schools Tennis Festival, leading around 1500 children into tennis, at seven local Primary schools, Millbrook, Wantage Primary Academy, Charlton Primary, Stockholm, Wantage C of E, St John’s Academy, The Ridgeway C of E. This culminates in the Festival of Tennis at the Club from 9:00-12:30 on Saturday and 1:30 – 4:30 on Sunday, with free coaching sessions for all those who have participated during the week.

The Festival of Tennis coincides with an Open Weekend at the Club. Everyone is invited to visit to find out more about the facilities, membership options and the Pay and Play Public Courts. There will be opportunities to try out the courts for free and new joiners on the day will qualify for 25% off standard membership for 2026-7.
Committee Members will be on hand to answer questions, and refreshments will be provided. Free coaching with AA Tennis is on offer on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon.
