Things that are IN & OUT for me right now as a 40 year old mum of 4 trying to feel GOOD physically & mentally 💛👇🏼
✨ IN:
✔️ Lifting weights regularly
✔️ Walking every day 12,000 in my step goal 💪🏻
✔️ Prioritising protein & Fibre - 80% whole foods
✔️ Drinking 2-3 litres of water per day so my skin looks good and I feel good
✔️ Better morning routines, waking up that little bit earlier⏰
✔️ Looking after my skin & health
✔️ Protecting my energy 🔋
✔️ Doing things that make me feel confident
✔️ Building habits I can actually sustain
🚫 OUT:
❌ Late nights for no reason, it affects my whole week 🪫
❌ Sugary drinks, no Thankyou!
❌ Internet quick fixes & fad diets
❌ Negative self talk
❌ Comparing myself to people online
❌ Skipping meals, absolute no 🙅🏼♀️
❌ Snoozing my alarm 10 times 😅
At this stage of my life I’m not chasing perfection anymore,
I’m chasing energy, strength, confidence and balance ⚖️
I want to feel healthy in a way that actually fits around being a busy mum, work, family life and everything else that comes with it 🙃
The biggest thing I’ve learned?
Small habits done consistently matter WAY more than extreme plans and it’s so important to value yourself and your well being 🫶🏻
