In 2019, the people of Wallingford demonstrated their respects for PC Andrew Harper, his family and colleagues, by putting up a Thin Blue Line. This had a real effect of support, with one officer saying he was ‘moved to tears at the site of such support’ when he walked into Wallingford town centre.
We have all had to relive the horrendous memories and details of that night, 15th August 2019, when PC Andrew Harper and PC Andrew Shaw, who should already have finished their shift four hours earlier but instead responded to a call for help.
PC Andrew Harper was one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. Andrew and Lissie Harper never got to go on their Honeymoon, following their wedding on 18th July 2019. They lived just over the bridge in Crowmarsh.
The THIN BLUE LINE
Once again, We will be putting up a Thin Blue Ribbon, out of respect and support of his family and colleagues, anyone who feels strongly enough and wants to show their support, it just takes a Thin Blue Ribbon. A piece of ribbon, this week, can say so much, wherever you live or work!
Lissie Harper fought for Harper’s Law, in support of all emergency workers, so early release should not be an option.

To our followers, where are you? We rely on the spring and summer months to keep us going through the traditional quieter autumn & winter months. Unfortunately we have had a very quiet June and July! We know the weathers been hot but we offer a delivery and click and collect service and the shop is cooler then outside, we are not a chain we cannot rely on shareholders or credit to pay our wages or rent! We need you all to support local, we are not overpriced in some cases we are to cheap! The saying of USE US OR LOOSE US has never been so true. So although we appreciate our 13000 followers we need you all to think of us before buying on Amazon or IKEA something you can get cheaper and better from us. We cannot have a Sunday where we took £8 again! The Shack is family run from start to finish and we are on YOUR’E high street! For how much longer is upto you…….
