The wait is finally over! This weekend sees our Tycroes RFC 2nd XV kick off their first league campaign of the season as they make the trip to take on Penygroes RFC.

🚨 GAME CANCELLED 🚨

We are hugely disappointed to announce that our first league game of the season has been cancelled.

With the much-anticipated start of the league finally upon us, we were eager to get going, but unfortunately our opponents have informed us that they have opted to withdraw from Saturday’s fixture.

While this is obviously disappointing for everyone involved, unfortunately it is completely out of our hands. Under current WRU guidelines, teams are within their rights to opt out of playing until 13th September without sanction.

We’d much rather be preparing for our first league game than making this announcement, but we’ll have to be patient a little longer.

We’ll be back at it and ready to go when the league campaign gets underway! 🖤🤍

The Ammanford & District Summer league continues this evening as Tycroes Rugby B play host to their Ammanford Miners Welfare counterparts. Tycroes Tigers take on Llandybie Social Club away in the penultimate fixtures of the summer campaign.

Tycroes RFC are back in Admiral National League Division 2 West action this Saturday as we welcome Nantgaredig RFC to the club!

There’s plenty of history between these two sides, and last season saw two cracking fixtures. We took the spoils 33–23 at home before following it up with a 22–7 victory away from home.

But last season counts for nothing now — it’s a new campaign and Nantgaredig will be looking to put that record right.
