Club Announcement …… A new Era in upon us

For over a century, the Treforest Tin Works stood proudly across the River Taff from our club, employing generations of local families and helping shape the community we call home.

The workers of the tin works were known for their grit, resilience, teamwork and pride – values that remain at the heart of Rhydyfelin RFC today.

"The Village" reflects where we come from.
"The Tinmen" reflects what helped build our community.
Together they tell the story of Rhydyfelin.

As we continue to build for the future, we are proud to embrace a new nickname that honours our local heritage and gives our club a unique identity.

Connecting the Past, Present and Future the nickname change isn't about replacing the club's history..........It's about honouring it.

A tribute to the workers who forged our community and the players who continue to represent it.
