Basset Down’s beginnings were born when we decided it was time to stop dairy farming and start a new adventure as a family. We took the leap and transformed our beautiful stretch of Wiltshire countryside into a place all could enjoy, opening in 2005. Since then, our small business has grown from strength to strength, and led us down the path we find ourselves on today. After getting planning permi

ssion to extend our clubhouse in 2018, we’ve recently opened our extended facility, including a 78-seater restaurant and bar, two function rooms and 23 meter balcony, alongside our existing golf course, footgolf courses and Toptracer driving range. Supported by our friendly team, we will continue to run Basset Down with customer service sitting at the heart of all we do and look forward to this exciting next chapter!

It's Wiltshire Day 💚

Did you know our 9-hole footgolf & disc golf course is actually a celebration of some of Wiltshire's most iconic landmarks? 👀

From Stonehenge and Silbury Hill to The Ridgeway and our own White Horses, each hole is themed around a different local landmark and includes its own fact plaque to help you discover a little more about the county we call home. ⛳️🥏🌿

So whilst you're trying to beat your friends and family, you might even learn a thing or two along the way 😅

Here at Basset Down, we’re lucky to welcome women and girls of all ages and abilities whether they’re picking up a club for the first time, enjoying a lesson on the range or heading out for a round with friends.
