The 2026/27 league season has been delayed following the impact of the recent hot and dry weather on pitches across the country.

We’ll keep you updated as soon as rearranged fixtures are confirmed.

🎨🏃 YORKSHIRE DAY COLOUR RUN – WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EFFORT! 🏃🎨

We can finally reveal the fantastic total from our Yorkshire Day Colour Run 2026…

💷 £3,888 RAISED DIRECTLY THROUGH COLOUR RUN SPONSORSHIP! 💷

And that was just one part of a hugely successful Yorkshire Day at PRUFC!

When we add in the money raised across the bars, vendors, stalls, bouncy castles and everything else happening around the club, Yorkshire Day brought in around £8,500 in total, with approximately £4,500 raised by the club on the day itself! 🔵⚪️

That is an absolutely phenomenal effort and shows what can happen when the whole club and community gets behind an event.

A huge congratulations to our Under 14 Girls, who raised an unbelievable £1,447 and have won a full set of O’Neills training T-shirts! 👏

Remember, 70% of each age group’s sponsorship goes directly back to their team, with the remaining 30% going towards shared training equipment for the equipment shed.

A massive thank you to every player who ran, every person who sponsored, every volunteer who helped, everyone who ran a stall or activity, our vendors and everyone who came down and spent money at the club.

An incredible day, an incredible amount raised and a fantastic example of what PRUFC is all about.

The wait is almost over… and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to Pontefract RUFC for what promises to be a fantastic day for all the family! 💙🤍

Whether you’re taking part in the Colour Run, grabbing some food, enjoying a drink, browsing the local stalls or just soaking up the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.
