Here is what’s coming up this week for Kippax BC!!

It’s looking like a very warm week for all Crown Green Bowlers ☀️ suncream, bug spray and plenty of water all for all players at the ready!!

Crazy how the temperature goes up as soon as you step on those greens!!! Keep safe and hydrated all 💙

Refreshments available at all home games (and even some lovely ice creams to choose from)

If you fancy giving Crown green a go, please come say hello at one of our home games or pop down on Friday evening to meet some of the team and our newest members to have chat and a roll!!

**PLEASE NOTE**
No open toed shoes/sandals to be worn whilst on the green - if a bowl hits or lands on your exposed feet IT HURTS A LOT (trust me)

Half way point for us in two of the three new Leagues we entered for the 2026 season !!!

Sitting comfortably in second for each team!!
The newest members have loved having these new leagues to sink their teeth in to with the guidance of some experienced bowlers!!

Let’s see what the second half of the season brings!!!!

Kippax hosted the first of the Castleford festival week competitions!!

Mixed pairs!!

The weather held off right until the last minute and it was great to have the green full of fantastic players and spectators!!

Razor was the host for the night and did a sterling job!

Well done to all the winners who made it through to the finals day in July (our very own Jade along with Darryl booked their spot in the final)

Great day at the office for the Kippers!!!! Fantastic home and away wins!! Keeps both teams sitting nicely in Division 2!!!

One more game and we have hit the half way point!!! Where are the weeks going ??

Four new members received their bowling numbers yesterday!! The new members brought down another person who is interested in joining!!! We love this!!!

The New members all play snooker in the bowling off season so their competitiveness is on point!!!

We’ve started a having a-bit of fun on a Friday evening with the newbies pairing up with a member and playing a few games of pairs!! Great seeing them enjoying it and learning the game getting ready for them to join us in one of our new leagues!!!

Welcome to the club gents! We love having you and can’t wait to see your progress in the game!!!
