The holidays are ending, schools are returning and many of us are suddenly spending more time at desks, in cars or racing between commitments.
And the body sometimes notices before the diary does.
Perhaps your back feels stiffer by lunchtime, your shoulders have crept towards your ears, or the exercise routine you meant to restart suddenly feels rather less inviting.
Hello lovely humans 👋 I’m Amy Linford, an Applied Movement Neurology practitioner, movement coach and sports therapist based in Sway.
I help people explore what may be influencing uncomfortable, restricted or uncertain movement. We assess the movement, consider how the nervous system is processing relevant information, introduce an individual input and then retest.
It is a little more thoughtful than simply telling everybody to stretch more.
Appointments can combine neurological and movement assessment, sports therapy, massage and practical exercise guidance where appropriate.
