Sway Social Club Whilst the club has closed it is hoped that a new venue will be sought The club offers an upstairs function room which has a stage, dance floor and bar.

Sway Social Club aims to provide a friendly place for local people to meet, socialise, chat, play, debate the issues of the day, listen to tall tales, celebrate, commiserate, enjoy one anothers company and have a drink whilst they do. In short, Sway Social Club is a real life, face to face version of a social networking site! It can accomodate up to 200 people. The function room is available for m

Sorry cannot give you much of an update other than a new trustee and chairman was appointed an the extraodinary meeting. The chairman said the club are looking to build a new social club and more news will follow. I am not in a position to give 'concrete' updates as I am not on the committee. I have asked before that someone else who is in a position of authority take on this FB page but I have not received any response. Therefore I shall be deleting this page within 7 days unless I hear otherwise

I posted a request (Oct 28th) asking asking if anyone knew what was going on with Sway Club, regarding new premises. Sadly no replies and in getting the weekly 'post reaches' from Facebook it seems to me that there is such little interest that I will be closing the page down soon
