June is a big month for coaches. Whether you’re picking up a barbell for the first time at our Introduction to Olympic Weightlifting, stepping into coaching with the Level 1 Award, or pushing into Level 2 territory in Weight Lifting or Strength Training - there’s a course with your name on it.
Loughborough, London, Somerset, Northampton, Stafford, Leeds. Six locations, every weekend in June, every level covered.

Want to officiate on the international stage?

British Weight Lifting is now inviting expressions of interest from Technical Officials for the 2026 European Youth and U15 Championships.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the next generation of athletes and represent Great Britain at a major international event.

The Championships will take place in Pristina, Kosovo from 20–27 August 2026.

What a weekend at the 2026 British Championships!

A huge thank you and congratulations to every athlete, coach, technical official, volunteer, staff member, partner and supporter who helped make this event such a success. Kudos also to our event workforce, loaders and the entire team who worked tirelessly to deliver our biggest British Championships ever. You are the reason BWL exists.

From first lifts to final medals, the atmosphere, professionalism and passion on display across the weekend showed the very best of our sports.

A special thank you to and for joining us in Telford and contributing to a fantastic international atmosphere across the weekend. Congratulations also to all athletes who competed in the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Qualification event!
