Sutton Coldfield Tennis Club is a private members club and was founded in 1922. Today, we are one of the major clubs in the country, and are proud of our LTA Tennis Clubmark Accreditation in recognition of delivering a quality tennis development programme and operating in line with best practice. The Club is located on the north side of Birmingham in Highbridge Rd, Wylde Green and shares the site

with Sutton Coldfield Squash Racquets Club. With two indoor courts and six floodlit outside courts, it is one of only a few private members clubs in the Birmingham and Midlands area that can truly support tennis all year round. The Club has a separate newly refurbished gym with a full range of resistance and cardiovascular equipment. Gym membership is available to non-members as well as tennis members. There is also a function room with its own bar and is available for hire to members & non-members.

WARWICKSHIRE LEARNING DISABILITY COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026

A special part of our County Championships week 💙

2026 marked our second Learning Disability County Championships and, for the first time, the event took place at Solihull Arden Club, alongside our wider Warwickshire County Championships.

It was fantastic to once again give players with a learning disability the opportunity to compete on the county stage and for a Warwickshire County Championship title.

🏆 County Champion – Alex Garcia
🥈 Runner-up – James Lang
🥉 Third – Matthew Newton

Congratulations to everyone who competed and helped make our second Championships another important step forward for inclusive competition in Warwickshire.

A huge thank you to Solihull Arden Club for hosting and to everyone who supported the event.

We’re proud to continue developing opportunities for players with a learning disability and look forward to seeing the Championships continue to grow.
