What I love about what we have done at Wolves Pickleball is build a club to give everyone the joy of pickleball and what it can add to your life. Whether it’s fitness, fun, new friends, social times, great coaching to improve( Jack is fab we all know that), competition. But to me it’s been a joy to watch players gain confidence and have a belief to say, “well why not compete and have a go.”
So my shout out goes to Julie Tarr 2 years ago she was never going to play a tournament again, got too nervous and too stressed in events. Now she just competed at the English nationals, English Open, team Captain at Wolves Pickleball at the Welsh Open and got our team promoted in the Staffs League last weekend. Just don’t talk to her about her Dupr!!
Thankyou to everyone that have made it such a great year at Wolves Pickleball…. You know how much both Jack and I appreciate all you have given of your time in spreadsheets and listening ( Robyn Thrussell), running teams , finding players, coming to sessions even when it’s Storm whatever… We are nearly a year old!!
