Last weekend marked my last ever race in a Honda, and where better to finish than where my MSUK journey began… Kimbolton.
Kim holds so many memories for me. Receiving the Mark Hines Award, winning the K Plate and becoming club champion. It only felt right to end this chapter here.
My dad promised me that if I became British Champion, I could come back and run the number 1 plate for one race before moving up. Being able to do that meant so much. 🇬🇧🏆
To make the weekend even more special, we asked Marc Reynolds to mechanic for me. We first met at Kimbolton, which led to us making the move to Tornado, and we’ve never looked back.
Marc believed in me a year ago and was the first person to tell my dad he could have a future British Champion on his hands. He encouraged us to enter, and a year later we returned to Kim as British Champion, with Marc on the tools. That made this weekend even more special.
Thank you, Marc, for everything you’ve done this year. You and at Tornado Racing Engines have been a massive part of my journey, and I really appreciate all you’ve done for me.
What a way to say goodbye to Honda Cadet.
