Sawyer is having an incredible season, but none of it would be possible without the businesses, family and friends supporting him along the way.

Karting requires a huge amount of commitment, both on and off the track, and every contribution genuinely makes a difference each time Sawyer races.

🏁 BRITISH KART CHAMPIONSHIP - PFi

I came into this weekend confident, excited and hoping to extend my run of four consecutive podiums. Instead, I’ve left PFi feeling robbed of the chance to fight on equal terms.

The top three in the championship were placed on pooled Motorsport UK engines. After experiencing several engine issues already this season, we were assured these newly rebuilt engines would be reliable.

Reliable? Yes. Competitive? No.

They were tight, slow and nowhere near sufficiently bedded in for championship racing. I went from winning heats and fighting at the front to struggling to reach the top ten. I wasn’t alone. The other championship leaders and those using pooled engines also struggled badly for pace.

I support the idea of pooled engines because racing should be fair. But when the system repeatedly affects results and becomes a handicap, something isn’t working.

SATURDAY
Qualifying P22 ➡️ P20 after penalties (worst ever)
Heat: 1 P20 ➡️ P13
Heat: 2 P15 ➡️ P11
Final: P10 ➡️ P10

SUNDAY
Qualifying brought some hope when I put it P6. For a moment, I thought we might still rescue the weekend.

Heat 1: P6 ➡️ P15
I was hit off on lap one and dropped to P20. I fought back, but without the pace to make the recovery I knew I was capable of.

Heat 2: P7 ➡️ P9

FINAL: P11 ➡️ P15

I made a strong start and climbed to P8. Then, after several laps of being knocked around, contact forced me off and dropped me to P17. The other driver received a penalty, but the damage to my race was already done. I fought back to P15, but it was a heartbreaking end to an incredibly difficult weekend.

Next month we head to Silverstone, possibly using the same engines. On such a fast circuit, that worries me, but I am not giving up.

I just want the championship to end with a fair battle. No politics, no drama and no outside influence.
Only driver talent and genuine pace.

We have all worked too hard and shown too much this season to be denied that opportunity. As we prepare to finish our Honda careers and move forward, every driver deserves the chance to show what they can do on equal terms.

One round remains. I’m hurt and I’m frustrated, but still fighting 👊🏻🏁

Kartmasters 2026 😆

What an experience, and one I’m incredibly proud to have been a part of.

Four days of racing on a brand new chassis and engine package, against some of Europe’s biggest teams and drivers.

We only committed to KartMasters 3 weeks before the event. I spent those weeks on a strict diet to get as close to the minimum weight as possible. We even removed the sticker kit and swapped parts for lightweight options, but despite our best efforts I was still 2.5kg over the minimum weight. Every kilo counts in karting, but we still managed to show genuine, front running pace with multiple fastest laps throughout the week.

The results didn’t reflect the pace we had, but we definitely turned a few heads and rustled a few feathers along the way. Being called the “Wild Card” and “one to watch” by was one of my highlights of the week. 😁

Race Report 🏁

Day 1
Engine issues meant we missed 3 of the 5 practice sessions, with another affected by rain, leaving us with just one solid session before qualifying.

Day 2
• Qualified P6
• Heat 1: P2 on track.

Bad luck struck! On the final lap I was hit from behind and on the in-lap, my rear bumper fell off. That resulted in a disqualification and the loss of all the points we’d worked so hard for.

• Heat 2: P2

Day 3
• Qualified P7
• Heat 1: P6 on track, but a drop bumper penalty dropped me to P13.
• Heat 2: P12 after struggling with the kart setup and changing wheels to cope with the grip.

Finals Day

Super Heat:
Starting P14, I fought through the pack. At one point I was completely airborne and sideways, but somehow managed to save it and finished P6 after a penalty ahead.

Grand Final:
Started P12 on accumulated points from the week.

I battled hard, climbing to P6, but a front caster bearing issue dropped me back to finish P12.

Without the bumper disqualification, things could have looked very different. But that’s racing, you take the highs with the lows.

Looking back, I’m incredibly proud. With only a couple of days testing in this kart, we proved we can run at the front against Europe’s best! That gives me a huge amount of confidence for what’s next.

A massive thank you to my family, team, sponsors and everyone who supported me throughout the week. Now we shift our focus back to British! Let’s Go!💪🏁

Day 2 of Kartmasters 💪🏻

What a day 🤯

My first ever race weekend in a Micro Max against some of the best drivers in the country.

Qualifying - P6
Really happy with this result. I was aiming for a top 10, so to qualify P6 was a great start.

Heat 1 - P6 ➡️ P2 on track by (DSQ)
My first Micro race was a good one. Battled through the pack and crossed the line in P2. On the last lap I had a battle into the hairpin and got hit from behind. On the in lap, my rear bumper fell off after the bolt snapped and it dragged along the floor.

Unfortunately this resulted in a disqualification. A bit unlucky, but we accepted it and moved on.

Heat 2 - P6 ➡️ P2
After the first heat I wanted to prove I still had the pace. Battled back through to finish P2.
Also got chose to run the onboard camera for the live stream. That was cool.

So happy with how it’s going so far, even with the Heat 1 setback.

Massive thanks to my mechanic Lewis and team boss Martin.
Bring on tomorrow 💪🏻

🚨 Massive news!! 🚨

I can finally announce…

Thanks to MJR, I’ve been given the opportunity to compete in this year’s Kartmasters GP 2026! 🤯

For one weekend, I’ll be jumping out of my Honda and into a Micro Max.

A completely new class, a different engine with more power, and a whole new challenge. I’ve only had a few days of testing in the kart, so there’s still plenty to learn, but it’s a challenge I’m definitely ready for.

I’ve watched Kartmasters for years, so to finally be lining up on the grid is an amazing feeling.

The whole weekend will be covered live, so keep an eye out and follow along! 👀

A huge thank you to all my sponsors, MJR, and everyone who continues to support me. It honestly means so much.

Let’s go! 💪🏁

Shenington Super Prix 🏁

A good weekend, especially as we weren’t even expecting to be racing!

We missed the original entry and couldn’t get in, so we were put on the reserve list and didn’t hold out much hope. After testing on Friday, we were lucky enough to get a place when another driver dropped out.

I’m really happy with the results, especially as I haven’t had much track time at Shenington before. It was tough battling through a mixed grid of Waterswift and some really quick drivers, so I’m pleased with the consistency we showed heading into Kart Champs this weekend.

Qualifying: P7

Heat 1: P7 → P4
Heat 2: P7 → P4
Final: P4 → P4

Looking forward to Kart Champs this weekend! 💪🏁
