St Ives Rangers FC

We are a community, grassroots football club in St Ives, Cambs, formed in 1972.

St Ives Rangers FC was formed in 1972, and organises coaching sessions and football matches for local people ranging from the age of 6 right through to adulthood. All involved have worked hard over the years to build the Club to its current position, where it now coaches in excess of 300 players. The Club has a full set of Football Association excellence qualifications, namely;

* The Charter Standard Club
* The Charter Standard Community Club, and
* The Charter Standard Adult Club Awards. We are always looking for additional sponsors, so if any business would like to support such a trusted and proven community based organisation, then we would very much like to hear from you.

⚽️ ST IVES RANGERS – OUR NEW ADULTS TEAM! ⚽️

We’re delighted to officially introduce the St Ives Rangers Adults Team, competing in the Cambs League Division 3C! 💙

This is a fantastic new chapter for our club and a really exciting development for St Ives Rangers. It gives our youth players a clear pathway to continue playing football within the club as they progress into adult football - something we’re incredibly proud to be able to offer our players and families.

📸 A photo from the team’s first home fixture - and what a start it was, with the Rangers securing an impressive 4–2 victory! 👏⚽️

👏 A huge thank you to our coaches for giving up their time and commitment to the team. We really appreciate everything you do to support the players and help make this new chapter possible. 💙

A MASSIVE thank you to our sponsors Hyperion Auctions, Howdens, A J Cobb Body Repair Centre and Mitsa for their fantastic support of the team. Your backing is helping us grow the club and create more opportunities for players in our community. 💙

🏟️ Come and support Rangers!

Our home fixtures are played at St Ives Outdoor on Saturday afternoons, giving the local community a great opportunity to come together, enjoy some football and get behind the team.

📅 Follow stivesrangersmens to keep up to date with upcoming fixtures, results and all the latest news from the adults team.

We’d love to see plenty of familiar faces on the sidelines supporting the lads! 👏

We’re proud to throw our full support behind Hunts Youth League’s Smoke Free Sidelines campaign, in partnership with Living Better .

Our pitches should be a place where kids can focus on the game, not breathe in smoke or v**e clouds from the sidelines.

So to all our players, parents, coaches and supporters: please help us keep matchdays smoke-free and v**e-free, on the touchline and anywhere our young players can see.

Small change, big example.

Let’s make every St Ives Rangers matchday one the next generation can be proud of. 💚

⚽️ GOOD LUCK, RANGERS! 💙🖤

The wait is over… the new season starts tomorrow! 🙌

A huge good luck to all our St Ives Rangers players, coaches, managers and volunteers as we get ready for another season of football.

Play with pride. Support each other. Show respect. Most importantly, enjoy the game! ⚽️

Whatever happens on the pitch, remember what makes our club special — our players, our teams and our Rangers family. 💙🖤

Have a brilliant season, everyone. Give it your all and make some fantastic memories along the way!

COME ON RANGERS! 🔵⚫️

⚽ NEW SEASON, NEW LAWS! ⚽

The 2026/27 season brings a number of changes to the Laws of the Game, and there are a few that coaches, players, parents and referees will want to know about.

From 10-second substitutions and changes around penalty kicks, to new guidance on throw-ins, goal kicks and player equipment, there are some important updates to get your head around.

👀 How many did you already know?

Save this post, share it with your team and have a look through before the season gets fully underway this weekend.

And remember — the laws apply at every level of the game, from grassroots football upwards.
