So, we said yesterday that Joel was racing. Short post.

Joel qualified 3rd.
Joel finished both races in 3rd place on the road.
At the end of the meeting Joel was promoted to 2nd place in both races.

Joel Haire Racing is leading the USBK MOTO1 champioship, on 135 points, 44 points ahead of 2nd place.

Additionally.

Joel's bike was subject to a protest regarding its compliance (the engine) within the USBK Moto1 class. It passed as being compliant. Naturally.

Well done Joel. Behind you all the way on the Remember. You may be the youngest member of THE family, but your part of THE family.

Press release.

In the past week 2 of our supported team riders were at a private, non BSB trackday at Donington, assisting a technology developer with the development of their AI bike set up tool.

Whilst this is clearly a very clever piece of kit, and would assist riders of all abilities (trackday through to full blown Superbike), we must confirm that as a team competing in the BSB BMW F900r class, where such kit is NOT PERMITTED during championship events, we do not permit the use of this equipment on ANY 2 Strokes Racing supported bike that rolls out of our awning at said championship events.

As a team, we would also urge, or recommend any potential users of this type of technology to check the regulations for the club / organising body / class that they run in for compliance of the technology, and also that it is on the approved suppliers list

It's all go, even though, you might think we've slowed down a bit....

So, Team Manager Pete, and the re team boss, Tracey have sloped off to Greece. Mechanic Tony Evans , Team Timekeeper Donna Marie Evans and 1 of the team riders, Jordan Ashington have swanned off to The Isle of Mann TT races. Young Joel Haire Racing ?

He's racing at Kirkistown, as part of the superbikes championship, in the Moto1 class. Leading the champioship, Joel hopes to extend his lead. It's a class for youngsters, on more or less IDENTICAL bikes. All standard, but serviced, Max power, 43bhp*. If you cheat in this class, you are only cheating yourself, or your son or daughter by sending them out on a non-compliant bike
Good luck to all the competitors today, and thank you to racing / brown for allowing Joel to set up in the garage.

Even though he's in Greece, Pete will be tuning in.

*this week, Joel's bike was on the dyno for an engine check, ahead of this big race meeting, with him suitably under the 43bhp limit. Let's hope all the bikes in the Moto1 class are, so its good, honest racing.

What an honour and Priviledge.

Yesterday, saw team mechanic, Paul Andersson and father Michael Eaton represent 2 Strokes Racing as we were invited to the The Chelsea Pensioners Royal Hospital Chelsea Founders day celebrations, with Her Majesty The Queen carrying out the official duties. To be invited along is such an honour, with ex service person Paul proudly wearing his Veterans badge. "To see the retired servicemen and women march with such dignity and purpose was breathtaking and inspirational " Paul was heard to say.
A few cheeky libations after the main parade with Matt, Mike, Bill and the many resident friends of the team, Paul and his dad Mike took the train home to Southampton. If you follow the team, and head to the Brands Hatch rounds of the British Superbike Championship , you'll get to meet a few of the Chelsea Pensioners, as they are guests of 2strokesracing and our great paddock friends, True Heroes Racing .

We have Racing coming up this weekend with young Joel Haire Racing out to defend his championship, whilst Paul and Mike are on their 2nd set of ceremonial duties. Keep a look out, folks.

A video showing the 2 Strokes Racing supporters already heading north through the wilds of Scotland, to see the team's riders compete in the British Superbike Championship BMW Motorrad UK F900r Cup on the weekend of the 19th > 21st June.
We're only joking of course, some of the best biking roads are to be found in Scotland. Instead of sticking on the M74, Team manager Pete jumps off at Beattock and follows the old road, the B7076. Even driving the truck. Beautiful road.

More merch incoming...

Show the world that you support THE family at BSB (well, the race paddock / camping area/ riders as they go into turn 1) who you support, with our "2strokesracing Twirler" flag/twirler/towel/table cloth. Single sided, and measuring approx. 64cm x 38cm, and made from the same material as our shirts by our merch partners, IMB Racewear, they should have a flag pole sleeve sewn in to them. (We've only seen the aetwork so far...) It's not for us to say what you do with them, but fly them with pride. Maybe get together with other 2strokesracing fans at turn 1 as the lads come through in the British Superbike Championship BMW Motorrad UK F900rCup... let them know you are there by holding them in the air.

As with all merch, 100% if profits will go to charity. Merseyside & Cheshire Blood Bikes will benefit from these. We only have a very small stock coming in of the mk1 version (just to see if you like them). They probably will change a bit every time. Get yours from the team, for £20.
