Huge congratulations to Aditi, Shaurya, Advika and Ansh on achieving their first dan black belt status under their Instructor WM Shuter! 🥋🥋🥋🥋

These four students trained with me for many years as Solihull Tigers, before moving up to Solihull TKD adult/family class...therefore, I really wanted to create this post, to celebrate their well deserved promotions, after all their hard work, and dedicated years of TKD training 🎉🎉🎉

I'm so proud of them for being such amazing role models for our younger Tigers (as many of them still give up their time, to come and help out in Tiger classes too)...they are are the proof that never giving up, dedication, will-power, drive, determination, and hard practise, are everything!! 💪👊🔥

You started your journey all those years ago with Sue Hall, as mini tigers...trained hard with me for 5 years at Solihull Tigers TKD...and are now an integral part of Solihull TKD, with your Instructor WM Mark Shuter 😃

Congratulations to all our Tigers, who successfully passed their grading, two weeks ago today 🎉🎉🎉

Such great discipline, patience, focus, determination and effort from them all...and impressive manners too! 😁🐯🥋 They did themselves, me and the club really proud 👍

Special well done to our 11 'A' pass students👏... and to all our red belts, who really put in the work for this one! 👍💪👊

Also, big congratulations to Izumi who was chosen by GM David Oliver to receive the grading award, for excellent inprovement 😃👏💪

Parents...i want to take the time to thank you too, for your constant support🙏😊 Thank you for encouraging your children to practise at home, for bringing them to extra lessons for the last couple of months...and for delivering/picking up your children on time, which really helped the grading run smoothly! 🙏

Also, an extra big thank you to Mr Hunt, Mr Adams, Mr Harris-Rea, Mr Pinnell, and Aditi, for all their much appreciated, and valued help...as their assistance at gradings, and behind the scenes, is never to be underestimated 🙏😁

Fantastic performances from our three Solihull Tiger warriors: Jasper, Izumi and Hiro, at the recent TAGB Midlands Championships.💪👊😃

Jasper had an awesome day competing in his individual sparring, and loved every min of the tag team sparring event, in which his team successfully fought their way to gold!🥇🎉

Izumi and Hiro both deserve a special mention, for stepping up to compete in their actual first ever TKD competition! Where they both had a really enjoyable day, and took the experience in their stride 👏👏👏

Izumi having been first up in her group for a solid pattern performance, and only very narrowly missing out on progressing to the next round in her individual sparring 💪
Hiro gaining himself a well earned bronze medal in his individual Tiny Tots sparring category 🥉🎉

So, so proud of all three of these students, who put in the work, week in, week out...and as a result, are showing such improvement and progress in all areas of their TKD 😃

What a fantastic day for our students last Sunday, at the legendary TAGB British Championships! 🇬🇧👊🔥💪
With over 1200, these young gladiators stood up on the mats and gave it their all! 💪

So proud of them, for their hard efforts, composure, determination, and confidence...but most importantly, their fantastic sportsmanship! 😃
Big smiles all round, for the whole amazing day! 😊👏

This week, Solihull Tigers TKD are participating in raising awareness for 'Anti-Bullying Week' 👍

The theme this year, is "Power for Good"...and as part of our commitment to supporting the Anti-Bullying Alliance campaign, the BTC, are actively encouraging all organisations and clubs to participate, to help spread the word! 😊

The Anti-Bullying Alliance are also promoting an "Odd Sock Day" again, to celebrate uniqueness and individuality 😃

Therefore...everyone (Tigers/Juniors and Adults) are coming to class in odd socks this week...to support the cause! 🧦

In our TAGB Tigers classes, we will be holding small 'Tiger Talk' groups...and setting a fun activity task, for students to complete at home 👍...and our adult/family class will also join in a discussion group, on how to help combat bullying 👍

After all...spreading a little kindness, celebrating individuality, sharing our TKD values/tenets to others...and spreading a little more happiness in the world, is more than a worthy cause 🌍🩷🥋🐯

Congratulations to Norris, the very first winner of our new monthly Solihull Tigers TKD 'Tiger Challenge'!!!
🎉🎉🎉

This month's challenge was all about balance, control, and technique...20 front kicks on each leg, without wobbling, or putting your foot down, and showing correct foot position! 💪

We had lots of exceptionally good efforts from both our junior and senior tigers...and Norris shone with outstanding focus and concentration, to bag himself our new special TKD medal, all the way from South Korea! 🥇🇰🇷😃

Celebratory (joint clubs) competition round-up post! 😃🎉
It's been a very busy couple of TKD months...and all our dedicated competitors across all our three clubs, trained superbly hard, to put their skills to test at the recent TAGB Welsh Championships, and BTC Championships 👍💪👊

Special well done done to Jasper, Jacob, Max and Lucy, who represented our Solihull Tigers club at the Welsh Champs...and massive congratulations especially to Jasper, who became Welsh Champion in his yellow belt boys, patterns category,🥇 as well as taking bronze in his first ever sparring event🥉...and huge congratulations also, to his little brother Jacob, who took silver in his first ever sparring event too!🥈
