What a lovely write up from the Birmingham Tattoo! We are so proud of all the dance schools and their dancers / teachers.

There is a lot in the news today highlighting negative behavior among young people, but we must always remember this is a minority.

At the Birmingham International Tattoo we are proud of our commitment to supporting local youth groups and those fantastic teachers and volunteers who give up their time to train the next generation of adults.

The 2026 event featured cadets plus dancers from eleven youth dance schools, providing young performers with a platform to showcase their talents alongside the international bands.

In 2027 we will continue to support local youth organisations and this picture sums up to us the energy and passion that these young people bring to the bp pulse LIVE Arena.

Join us in February and see first hand these fantastic young ambassadors.

Performing as part of a team for a Dance School is very important on so many levels.

Team Work - It builds strong social bonds, improves group coordination, and teaches valuable life skills.

Improves Dancing Quality - dancers must match each other’s timing and speed.Spacing on stage looks clean when everyone works together.

Boosts Confidence - enhances performers stage presence, technique and overall growth.
