Last night saw the final round of the 2026 Timetrials at Shouldham Warren. Although the course was pretty dusty some really good times were posted.

It has been great again this year seeing everyone trying to better their personal bests and some great rivalry between riders.

The presentation of the trophies took place at the end of the racing and saw the following riders wining fastest lap and the overall club trophies.
Overall Lady- Retaining her trophy - Caroline Murfitt
Overall Male - Regaining the trophy after just missing out last year - Gary Fendick
Fastest Lap - A new name on the trophy coming in under 27 minutes with an amazing time of 26 minutes 51 seconds was Jack Bent

This year saw 3 Juniors, 3 ladies and 24 male riders taking part over the 5 rounds with 3 riders completing all 5.

A big shout out to Adrian Wain who competed in all 5 events on a single speed and finished 3rd overall

Well done to all the riders and we hope you enjoyed the event!!

As always these Time Trials wouldn't go ahead without our committee and helpers who Set up the course, Timekeep, Marshall, Clear up afterwards and organise all the paperwork.

Lastly thanks to Alan Hall who has officiated at 4 of the events this year including last night and who kindly presented the trophy's at the end of the evening

Awesome coaching sessions this morning in Shouldham Warren! The first group nailed the tight turns, standing up on their pedals and the basics, coming to a safe stop and starting again.

Whereas the taxing undulations of parts of the Warren put the second group to the test. Down, turn right, sand, roots, change gear, more sand, up, turn, power down, more roots…. Great seasons, chapeau to all.

TIMETRIAL 25th JUNE POSTPONED

We have made the decision, due to the extreme heat forecast and the amount of biting flies in the Warren, to postpone the Time trial scheduled for Thursday evening, 25th June. We will transfer your entry to a spare date which will be the 16th July, but if you would prefer a refund, please let us know. email [email protected]

The next Timtetrial scheduled for next Thursday 2nd July should go ahead as planned.
