Oliver is a passionate and ambitious young kart racer currently competing in both the Honda Cadet GX200 and IAME Waterswift Restricted Cadet classes in the UK. He began

karting in late 2024 and has thrown himself into every aspect of the sport—from race strategy and kart setup to data analysis and fitness. He races with full commitment at club and regional events, including testing at tracks across the UK. In the Honda class, Oliver is focused on building his foundation—mastering consistency, braking zones, and race awareness. In IAME Waterswift, he's gaining critical experience with 2-stroke performance, preparing for future progression into higher-level karting categories. Oliver is proudly sponsored by Planetal Limited, whose support has been instrumental in his development both on and off the circuit. Round 5 this weekend at PFI

First club round since Kartmasters and British championship rounds. Learnt a lot since the last club round so excited to see what we can do this weekend.

18months ago Oliver moved into IAME testing a waterswift restricted with

Moved up into the race team and since then has put in a lot of work on and off track.

18months from first ever 2 stroke drive into the has been an incredible achievement.

Take a look at Oliver’s first practice session from his first taste at British level racing.

Strength has been a big thing since moving from cadet to inter at only 9. Most leave it a bit longer but Oliver wanted to move up into the quicker class sooner. Big thanks to .fitness for all the improvements this year. It’s really helped.

British Championship Debut

18months after his first session in a Honda cadet owner kart and 15months since moving to IAME we took on the best in the country.

Friday started well, P11 overall.

Saturday didn’t go aswell but learnt a lot and took the positives away. End of the day we found a twist in the chassis and made some changes for Sunday.

Sunday was much better - Oliver was competitive. Contact in the first heat on the last lap ruined the heat, second heat was much better, P17 ⬆️ P11 and the final moving up to P13 after being last on lap 1 due to contact.

Racecraft and understanding of track positioning improved loads this weekend.

Oliver showed he can race with the best in the country and hold his own.

Thank to and for everything this weekend. Amazing power and setup which made us competitive.

Was great to meet and thank you for your time with Oliver. Hope to see you around the paddock sometime soon.

What an experience! A track we know well but very different racing at this level.

Lots learnt this weekend - the hunger is there for more racing at this level.

Here we go! Debut time in the Wera Tools British Kart Championships this weekend at PFi Karting

Can’t wait to get back to it after a good performance at Kartmasters.

Really stepping up the level of competition once again and can see the difference already.

Kartmasters 2026 🏁

What an event. Our first one and loved it.

Practice day was spent chasing setup issues rather than making the progress we’d hoped for.

Friday & Saturday
Qualifying went badly both days, leaving Oliver starting right at the back. The race pace was far stronger than the results suggested though, and every heat showed big improvements in racecraft, confidence and overtaking.

Sunday
Superheat: P20 ⬆️ P17 despite spinning to avoid a multi kart incident ahead.

Grand Prix: P20 ⬆️ P12 on the road (classified P14 after penalties).

An incredible drive when it mattered most. With no pressure, Oliver delivered far beyond our expectations after all the setbacks earlier in the weekend. He had the pace to race wheel to wheel with British and European Championship drivers and never looked out of place.

The step up in competition has made a huge difference. Every session brought improvement and this has undoubtedly been Oliver’s biggest leap forward as a driver.

Next stop… our British Kart Championship debut. 💪🏁

Kartmasters 2026

This is why your not meant to roll over (drive slowly) during qualifying.

Oliver was on the back of a pack, good track position and was going to start pushing after warming his tyres.

Coming into sector 3 just before a push lap he was met with a wall of slow karts in front with no warning.

This pushed the nose cone into the wheel and bent the steering meaning he couldn’t turn left properly for the whole session. Qualifying in last place on Saturday.

The drivers that rolled off - two had their fastest lap deleted but our qualifying was over before it even started!
