The Sheffield Tententen always kicks off with the Fun Run for kids as young as 4.

This will probably be the part we miss the most after this year's final edition.

150 kids tearing off the start line, many of them with no idea how far they are about to run 😂

Pure enthusiasm

Pure Joy

This year will be the biggest fun run yet with an extra 50 spots for the last one.

We're up to 140 so far, so be an organised parent and get them signed up! 😁

There are just over 100 spots left in the main 10k too.

Not many.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be delving into the archives to post some things looking at the past 15 years of TENTENTENs.

October 10th 2010 saw the start of something special. 🍁

The Tenth Day of the Tenth Month of the Tenth Year at 10am for a 10k.

I'm sure you'll agree that's quite a few TENs.

And the slightly Bizarre but memorable name was born. 😁

How many people who are planning to spectate own a Cow Bell or similar? 😁

The plan for the final edition is to have a proper spectators zone flanking "The Hill" to recreate a bit of a TDF iconic climb type scene.

Anyone know a local Cow Bell supplier? 😂

Goose bumps and adrenaline will get you flying up that hill no problem!

Is a creative and super fun 10k trail & 2.5k fun run, attracting over 1000 runners each year the event is very well supported and has a fantastic atmosphere.

Entries to the 15th and Final edition of the Sheffield Tententen will open this Sunday at 6pm.

Any ideas for last “edition additions”? 😄

The kids Funrun will have a few extra places to kick things off with even more fun and energy than usual!

It would have been an amazing day weather wise today for the Tententen. 🍁

Let’s hope we get something similar next year for the 15th and final edition of the TTT on Sunday 11th October 2026.
