Walking / Jogging is encouraged between stages to recover and refresh before the next challenge. The stages mean that the racing takes place on the best and most beautiful sections of path and trails on route. Taking in a fantastic tour of Sheffield. People who have never run this route will be surprised by the hidden gems that it uncovers! ..... Of course we are hoping for a pleasant summers day

and on completion of the route, there will be a bar and great food choices to replenish and aid with celebrations!

Another mega edition of the Summer RSR!
So many enthusiastic people sharing a good time.
Both the fantastic race team, and those out conquering the course.
The atmosphere as usual was top notch.
The weather challenging but in the end dispatched with aplomb by most taking on the course.

2026 has been the year of Fire and Ice with the full spectrum of conditions being thrown at us.

From the Snow and ice of Winter to the heatwave of Summer. A true test.

With the right planning and preparation from our runners, what is achievable is more than what you might think.

As is customary here is our little race vid from last weekend!

What a top weekend it was too!
