It was a pleasure to welcome back Strata for their golf day.

What an incredible achievement for Lees Hall Ladies, who finished runners-up in the Yorkshire Ladies County Golf Association Team Finals, held at Bradley Hall Golf Club near Halifax.

After a fantastic victory over Wath in the morning, the team progressed to the afternoon final against Hallamshire Golf Club. Despite some challenging and harsh conditions, the team battled brilliantly and produced a very close and exciting match. Sadly, Hallamshire just pipped the team at the post to take the title, but our players can be immensely proud of their performance

The team playing in the final was:

Lesley Brosnan, Rachel Von Graevenitz, Wendy Smith, Jill Gothard
Julie Reed and Morag Laycock.
The team would like to thank their caddies and supporters (all pictured before). Also for 2 other playing members, Sally Gawthorpe and Brenda Wood, who could make it for the finals.

🌿 Our wreath making workshop with Hartleys Secret Garden Florist is back this December! 🌿

Come and join us for a lovely, cosy morning of wreath making, good company and getting into the Christmas spirit.

You’ll make your own beautiful wreath to take home, with lots of lovely greenery and natural bits to choose from. We’ll have everything you need, so all you need to do is come along, get creative and enjoy yourself.

It’s a lovely morning to enjoy with friends, or just come along and meet some new people!

A huge thank you to our incredible greenkeeping team who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our courses looking it’s very best. 🌱

There are always hurdles to clamber over and issues to sort, but your efforts are always appreciated. There’s always someone who thinks they know better… 😅 or has better ideas.

But, rain or shine, you guys are out there giving your all for LHGC, and that dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.
