To everyone who has joined us for a Discover Snorkelling Experience this year, we just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for your support! 🙏

It’s been brilliant introducing so many of you to the underwater world of our amazing Northumberland coast — and we’d absolutely love to see you back in the water! 🤿🌊

And here’s the good news…

If you’ve already been out with us this year, your next session is just £30 for equipment hire.

That means no big introduction this time…

Our Advanced Snorkelling Session will introduce you to:

It’s the next step for anyone who has caught the snorkelling bug and wants to develop their skills and confidence in the water.

🌊🤿 WHAT A DAY TO BE IN THE WATER! ☀️🦀

What a fantastic Discover Snorkelling Experience today with Vicky, Madeline, Sarah and Hannah! 🤿🦭

Yesterday’s strong westerly wind has certainly worked its magic! 🌬️🌊

The Haven was GIN CLEAR today — the sun was shining, the water was looking absolutely beautiful and the crabs were crawling everywhere! 🦀😂

Sometimes the North Sea just needs a little helping hand from the weather to work its magic…

And today it certainly delivered! 💙

Four brilliant snorkellers, fantastic conditions and plenty to discover beneath the surface.

What a day to be in the water! 🤿☀️🌊

🌊🤿 NEXT WEEK IS LOOKING GOOD! 🤿🦀

Monday to Friday are currently looking great for snorkelling next week, and we’ve got plenty of availability on our Discover Snorkelling Experiences!

If you’ve never tried snorkelling in the North Sea before, why not come and give it a go?

You might be surprised just how much there is to discover beneath the surface of our amazing Northumberland coastline. 🐟🦀🌊

And you don’t need to be an experienced snorkeller — we’ll show you the ropes, provide all the equipment and take you on an adventure beneath the surface.

🌊🤿 SEPTEMBER IS UPON US! 🦭

Well, where did August go? 😳

The kids are heading back to school, the summer holidays are officially winding down…

BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN THE FUN HAS TO END! 😎🌊

In fact, September is one of our favourite times of year to be in the water.

We’ll be running our Discover Snorkelling Experiences throughout September — every day, weather permitting! 🤿

And there’s another good reason to come and join us…

🌡️ The sea temperature is at its warmest around this time of year.

So if you’ve been thinking about giving snorkelling a go, September could be the perfect time.

The crowds are starting to disappear, the coastline takes on that lovely early-autumn feel, and there’s still plenty to discover beneath the surface. 🦀🐟🌊

So while everyone else is getting back into school and work…

🌊🤿 NOW THAT’S MORE LIKE IT! 🦭

A lovely group of ladies joined us today for their Discover Snorkelling Experience — Bronny, Louise and Joy.

We actually had to postpone their session last week because of the poor conditions, and looking at the sea today, it was definitely the right decision! 🌊

The water was flat calm and clearing nicely, with around 5 metres of visibility in places across the reef.

And what a difference that makes! 🤿

When the North Sea settles down, the reef really comes alive and you can properly appreciate just how much is going on beneath the surface.

A big thank you to Bronny, Louise and Joy for being so patient and coming back to give it another go.

Sometimes waiting for the right conditions is absolutely worth it! ❤️

And with September starting tomorrow, hopefully this is a sign of plenty more lovely days in the water to come.

🎥🌊 YESTERDAY’S DISCOVER SNORKELLING EXPERIENCE! 🤿🦭

Here’s the video from yesterday’s adventure with Katy, Seb, Tim, Thea, Vicky and Fiona.

The sea was flat calm, the sun was shining, the water was lovely and cool… and yes, the visibility was still being a bit stubborn! 😂🌊

But forget all that for a minute…

THE SOUNDTRACK! 🎶😂

I think this might be my favourite one yet. It’s an absolute earworm — I’ve been humming it all day and I suspect it’s going to be stuck in my head for the foreseeable future! 🤣

🌊🤿 FLAT CALM, WARM SUNSHINE & NORTH SEA MURK! ☀️

Today we welcomed Katy, Seb, Tim, Thea, Vicky and Fiona for their Discover Snorkelling Experience.

It was a proper Northumberland summer day — warm sunshine above the water and that familiar cool North Sea waiting underneath! 😂☀️🌊

The visibility is still being a little stubborn, with the water remaining murky, but at least the sea had finally decided to behave itself.

Flat calm! 🙌

And when the sea is this calm, even without perfect visibility, there’s still plenty to enjoy beneath the surface.

It’s been great seeing everyone over the last few days making the most of whatever conditions the North Sea throws at us.

Because let’s be honest…

If we waited for perfect conditions in the UK, we’d spend most of our time standing on the beach! 😂

Thanks for joining us today, guys — it was an absolute pleasure having you in the water.

🌊🤿 YESTERDAY’S DISCOVER SNORKELLING EXPERIENCE! 🦭

Here’s the video from yesterday’s adventure with Hayley and Claire.

The North Sea was still doing its best to keep the visibility down, but as you’ll see, that certainly didn’t stop us having a fantastic time! 😂🌊

The conditions don’t always have to be perfect to enjoy getting in the water, exploring the reef and making some great memories.

Sometimes you just have to embrace whatever the sea gives you and get on with enjoying it! 🤿
