The weekend that dreams are made of.

What fills you up? Here at The Frog Project we’re pretty keen on keeping our tanks topped up 🔋 we have the belief that if we take good care of ourselves, it spills out into the world around us. And this is the butterfly effect of yoga 🦋

And it’s especially important as we move from one season to another. Our in person retreats sit in the space in-between. Every Spring and every Autumn we get together - to softly move through the transitions together. With ease, grace, and a good amount of laughter, crying, and the odd dolphin!

This weekend was our 5th in person retreat. It was so special to have everybody here on the North Yorkshire Coast and share the magic of the yoga, the cliffs, the sea and the sun!

The biggest thank you to everybody who made the journey, and if you couldn’t come this time we’re already busy planning our Spring meet! Watch this space 👀

If you’re yet to dip your toe into our little online yoga community, check out the link in the bio. We have a 15 day free trial too! Just saying! 🧘‍♀️

“Spellbinding.” Elif Shafak.

This book whisks us off to Venice, and follows Orsola Rosso and her family on the Venetian island of Murano across six centuries, from 1486 to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Time flows differently here. Skipping like a stone through the centuries, we follow Orsola as she hones her craft through war and plague, tragedy and triumph, love and loss. The beads she creates will adorn the necks of empresses and courtesans from Paris to Vienna – but will she ever earn the respect of those closest to her?

Is anybody else feeling that little shimmer of transition creeping in?

Slightly darker evenings and mornings, a shift in the light, the odd leaf starting to let go, a bit of a chill in the air. Welcome to the 5th season!

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, they speak of a fifth season called Late Summer. I love the ideas behind it and the energy it brings. A sort of liminal space, the transition out of the heat and energy of Summer, and giving us the permission to pause, take stock, and digest all that’s happened so far this year, before the letting-go of Autumn.

So, as we move into this new month together, here’s a little question to ponder:

What are you ready to digest, process, move forward from?

There’s no need to rush the answer. Late Summer is slow and grounding by nature. Just let the question sit with you as the month unfolds. And if you like it, feel free to share in the comments below 😊

Could you use a little wiggle room in your body or your mind?

We don’t need more time, more stuff, better things, to be younger, older, thinner, fatter.. we need to give ourselves a break.

A break from taking ourselves so seriously. Declutter, make room, go easy on our bodies and on our minds. Treat ourselves with softness, kindness and ease.

There are many tools out there that help cultivate this kind of presence. And from more than 20 years of practice, yoga is the tool for me.

And this is why I built The Frog Project, and what we do together every day of the week. Practice filling up our cups and taking really good care of ourselves.

How do you keep tanks topped up when you’re in a new place?

Holidays for some can be a little disorienting! New (less routine), different food, new bed, sounds… you name it!

I love being away. Travel has been the essence of me for as long as I can remember. And wherever I am in the world, in the first few days I like to get my bearings and keep myself grounded (and tanks topped up!) with the same little routine.

☀️Wake up early before the family
🤸Go for a jog & stretch a little
🔋Return all full up & ready for the day!

What about you?

10 years married! 9 years raising a family. And almost 7 years running a business! It’s no easy feat. but I feel like the luckiest lady alive 🐸

Sometimes we need a little warning sign that it’s time to slow down. 🐸

We get so busy, so full up. And when we’re giving too much, or living a little out of balance, things can go a bit wonky. We might snap at a friend. We might have less patience. Less resilience.

This isn’t something wrong with us. It’s not something to fix. It’s just a reminder that we need to take a moment out.

At The Frog Project, our mantra is permission to put yourself first - but we know that’s not always easy. It’s hard to stop, especially when things are busy.

Still, we believe that when you take good care of yourself, you’re better able to show up for the world around you.

If this sounds good to you, we hold the space - for you, and for many others like you — to take that little bit of time out.

Whether you want to move strong or move easy, breathe deep: we have yoga and mindfulness practices to meet you where you are.

Come try us for 15 days, free. 💚

6 weeks. 3 phases of menopause. A room full of women who showed up for themselves. 🦋

Our first Yoga for Menopause course just wrapped up - and their words say it better than we ever could:

“You’ve helped me believe in myself - just the belief that it’s okay for me to be an empowered elderly woman makes me feel bigger already.”

“It’s been such a special place, sharing feelings in a safe space with the most amazing group of ladies.”

“An informative, inspiring and nourishing course which was also great fun! I feel more comfortable with my post-menopause state, feeling empowered and ready for new challenges.”

Perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause (your Second Spring) - wherever you are, there’s a place for you here. The course is now available on demand, and you can do it at the pace that feels right for you.

Your first 15 days are free. No card, no commitment, cancel anytime. Link in bio 🧘‍♀️
