🎄🍫 IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN! 🍫🎄

Christmas is fast approaching, and at FC Aztec Youth that can only mean one thing…

🎅 OUR CHRISTMAS CHOCOLATE TOMBOLA IS BACK! 🎅

We’ll once again be attending two fantastic local Christmas celebrations, bringing along our ever-popular Chocolate Tombola!

📍 Desborough Christmas Gala – Friday 27th November

📍 Rothwell Christmas Gala – Friday 4th December

But to make these stalls a success, WE NEED YOUR HELP! 💚💛

We’re asking our amazing Aztec families, friends and supporters to donate whatever chocolate they can spare. Whether it’s a chocolate bar, a box of chocolates or a festive selection box, every donation makes a difference!

🍫 Can you help?

If you’re a parent, grandparent, friend of the club or even a local business looking to support grassroots football, we’d love to hear from you.

All donations will help us run our tombola stalls and raise valuable funds to support the club and the opportunities we provide for our players.

📅 Donation deadline: Sunday 22nd November

Please pass your donations to your team’s coaches so they can be collected by the deadline.

Every year, we’re blown away by the generosity of our Aztec community, and we’re hoping this Christmas will be no different!

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can make this year’s Christmas galas another fantastic success! 🎄⚽

Kiddies Fun Football (KFF) Year 1: “Player of the week”:

⚽️🏆 Elodie 🏆⚽️

Elodie is an absolute superstar role model to have in our football sessions from the moment she arrives until the sessions are over.

She gets straight into scoring goals, taking great pleasure in keeping me updated on how many she’s been getting.

When it’s time for our activities Elodie is a super listener and works hard on the task at hand.

Not only working hard on her football skills Elodie is great fun, almost always smiling, having fun with the others and is always the first to offer to clean up after each activity.

Well done Elodie, keep up the good work 👏🏻🏆⚽️🌟

🏆💚💛 U7 BRAVES – PLAYER OF THE WEEK – MAX! 💛💚🏆

While the weather unfortunately put a stop to this weekend’s fixtures, it certainly didn’t dampen the enthusiasm or determination of our U7 Braves! 🌧️⚽💪

With no matches to play, the team made the most of their training session, continuing to develop their skills, build confidence and show just how much they’re progressing week after week! 👏

🌟 This week’s Player of the Week goes to MAX! 🏆

As the coaches begin introducing more challenging drills, Max has really stepped up and impressed with his attitude, effort and ability!

Showing fantastic close control, accurate passing and some excellent finishing, Max demonstrated just how much he’s learning and developing on the training pitch. ⚽🔥

But that wasn’t all!

🧤 Max also came to training ready to take on another challenge – goalkeeper gloves at the ready!

Showing a brilliant willingness to try different positions and help his teammates, Max stepped between the posts and delivered a fantastic performance, pulling off some great saves and showing excellent distribution to get his team moving forward again! 👏💪

It’s this kind of enthusiasm, versatility and willingness to learn that makes grassroots football so rewarding. Max’s positive attitude and determination to give everything a go really stood out this week! 💚💛

🏆 A massive congratulations to Max on a thoroughly deserved Player of the Week award!

Keep up the brilliant work, Max! And well done to all our U7 Braves for making the most of training despite the disappointment of having no weekend fixtures! 👏⚽💚💛

🌺 REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY 2026 – REPRESENT FC AZTEC 🌺

Our Club. Our Community. We Will Remember Them.

On Sunday 8th November, FC Aztec will be joining our local community at St. Giles Church, Desborough, to pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served, sacrificed and continue to serve our country.

As a club, we believe it is important to honour those who have given so much, whilst helping the next generation understand the importance of remembrance, respect and gratitude.

⚽ WE’RE LOOKING FOR TWO PLAYERS TO REPRESENT FC AZTEC!

We would love two of our young players to have the honour of representing FC Aztec at this year’s Remembrance Sunday service, where they will lay a wreath on behalf of everyone associated with our club.

We would particularly encourage players who come from a service family background, whether they have parents, grandparents or other family members who are serving or have previously served in the Armed Forces, to put themselves forward.

However, this opportunity is open to all FC Aztec players who would like to represent their club on this important occasion.

📍 Location: St. Giles Church, Desborough
📅 Date: Sunday 8th November 2026

🌺 Being part of FC Aztec is about much more than football. It’s about community, respect, togetherness and helping our young people develop values that extend far beyond the pitch.

We hope this will be a meaningful experience for the players selected and an opportunity for them to represent the entire Aztec family with pride.

📩 INTERESTED?

If your child would like to be considered, please send a private message to the club.

❤️ Lest We Forget.

🌺 We Will Remember Them. 🌺

🏆💚💛 U7 PHOENIX – STAR OF THE WEEK – ASTRID! 💛💚🏆

🙈 A little apology from the FC Aztec admin team before we start… this one should have been posted last Sunday, 18th October! We’re a little late celebrating this week’s star, but better late than never! Sorry, Astrid! 💚💛

⚽ Another fantastic performance from our U7 Phoenix!

The team enjoyed a brilliant game last Sunday, with every player continuing to show just how much they’re developing week after week. 👏

All the hard work, listening and learning during training sessions is really starting to pay off, and it’s fantastic to see that progress being carried onto the pitch on matchdays! 💪⚽

🌟 Our Star of the Week goes to ASTRID! 🏆

It was Astrid’s turn to step between the posts, and what a fantastic job she did! 🧤

Showing great concentration, bravery and determination, Astrid produced some brilliant saves to help her teammates and put in a performance she can be incredibly proud of! 👏🔥

What makes her achievement even more special is seeing how much her confidence and belief in her own abilities are growing. Every week she’s learning, improving and becoming more assured on the pitch, and performances like this show just how far she’s coming! 💚💛

At this age, football is about so much more than results. It’s about building confidence, trying new things, learning new skills and enjoying every moment, and Astrid is a brilliant example of exactly that! ⚽🌟

🏆 A massive congratulations to Astrid on a thoroughly deserved Star of the Week award!

Keep believing in yourself, Astrid! We’re all incredibly proud of you! 💚💛👏

And once again, apologies from the admin team for the delayed celebrations! 🙈

🏆💚💛 U7 PHOENIX – STAR OF THE WEEK – CALEB! 💛💚🏆

Another really strong performance from the U7 Phoenix today, with all the hard work the team are putting into training really starting to show on the pitch. ⚽👏

The players are growing in confidence every week, and it’s fantastic to see them taking what they learn in training into their matches. 💪💚

🌟 This week’s Star of the Week goes to Caleb!

Caleb gives 100% every single week, both in training and in matches, and this week was no different. He worked really hard, did exactly what was asked of him and produced a fantastic performance for his team. 👏

He looked for space well, found some great passes and battled hard for the ball throughout. His effort, attitude and willingness to keep working for the team made him a very deserving winner this week. ⚽🔥

🏆 A huge well done to Caleb on being named Star of the Week – thoroughly deserved! 💚💛

Keep up the brilliant work, Caleb! 👏⚽
