Only one game this Bank Holiday weekend. Rothwell’s first team play at home tomorrow against Irthlingborough starting at 11am.

Congratulations to second team captain and wicket keeper, Sam Tully topping the county batting honours board this week following his innings last Saturday at Rothwell in their win against Woodford Halse CC.

Opening the batting, Sam scored 174 runs not out including 20 4’s and 6 6’s, his highest scoring innings to date! Our thanks to Finbarr Carroll for taking this photograph. Other photos taken at the weekend are featured in this week’s edition of the Northants Telegraph.

Rothwell and Weekley & Warkton’s Dynamos girls played two games against Burton Latimer this afternoon. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed playing. A positive step towards a girl’s team for next season, thank you to everyone involved🏏😊

Thanks Rothwell Town Council for inviting us along to your session yesterday. Great to meet the children there, all did really well on a very hot morning! Everyone would be welcome to come along and join our All Stars Cricket and Dynamos Cricket next year!! 🏏

The Rothwell Run Around is on today and we are delighted to be joined by Rothwell Town Cricket Club at Bovis Park 🏏

We will have a slightly shorter session today and finish at 11am due to the heat. Please remember your drink, sun cream and hat!
