A historic showing for Repton Swimming at the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships.
As the highest domestic swimming competition in the country, the swimmers were racing shoulder to shoulder against Olympians and National Team athletes. There were some fantastic results, with some highlighted below.
Jacob Mills (U6th) won his first Senior National Title in the 50m Freestyle, also earning a silver in the 100m Freestyle.
Kate Schillinger (A-Block) & Harry Milne (U6th) earnt consideration times for the European Junior Swimming Championships.
The following pupils reached an A-Final (Open age, Top 8 in the country): Zach Dale (U6th), Owen Johnson (U6th), Jacob Mills (U6th), Kate Schillinger (A-Block) and Fenella Wooddisse (U6th).
The following pupils reached a Junior (18&U top 10) or B Final (9th-18th) Jeremiah Carnegie (L6th), Martin Iankov (L6th), Austyn Manley (O-Block), Harry Milne (U6th), Will Tonks (U6th), Lucia Lesti (L6th), Macey Brough (A-Block), Eloise Cole (U6th), Lydia Cordle (A-Block), Clara Ginnis (U6th).
Austyn Manley (O-Block) broke two national age group records in the 200m Backstroke & 200m Individual Medley
Club Members Imogen Clark (Gold 50m Breaststroke), Adam Ramsay-Peaty (Gold 50m/100m Breaststroke) & Jacob Whittle (Bronze, 100m Freestyle) all made consideration times for the Commonwealth Games, with finals also for Holly Robinson (OR), Siena Oxby, Megan Neave, Holly Hibbott, Oscar Bilbao & Eva Okaro (Gold in 50m/100m FR + 50m Fly - OR).
