What a night.🍻

Our awards evening this year felt special - a mix of unparalleled success for the club and the community engagement we are committed to growing.

We brought back the Club Player of the Year award (found in the loft of one of our long-term members), and we grouped nominees by category so that everyone in catehory got their moment in the spotlight together. Because every single one of them earned it.

Congratulations to all our winners - including Sophie Cram (Club Player of the Year - Treble Winner 🏆🏆🏆), Craig Moffat (Performance of the Year - 59 points, enough said 🔥), and Johnathan Macleod, who received the Bob Taft Award for his incredible contribution to this club.

To every player, coach, volunteer, and supporter who made this season what it was - this night was for you. 🏀

Basketball doesn’t stop for Renfrew, our SLBA Senior men take on Glasgow Based Filipino team TAPAT tomorrow night as they prep for an upcoming tournament.

TREBLE WINNERS🏆🏆🏆

After finishing runners-up in the league last season and lifting the cup, this group has taken another step forward adding quality, building depth and setting new standards across the board.

Despite an early exit in the Scottish Cup, the response was clear. Week by week, performance by performance, picking up big wins against established sides and carrying that momentum through the season.

🏆BACK TO BACK🏆

SLBA CUP CHAMPIONS.

A 76–33 win in the final sees our Senior Women’s team lift the SLBA Cup once again, delivering a complete performance from start to finish.

Sophie Cram led the way and picked up MVP honours, while Africa Chinedu (16) and Grace Adam (14) powered the offence throughout. Saoirse Ferguson added 10 and captain Rebecca Gunn stepped up in the second half knocking down three big shots from deep to put it beyond doubt.

A huge credit to this group for everything they’ve put in across the season. The consistency, work rate, and togetherness have set the standard 👏
