Welcome back JAMIE CRAWFORD!!

Returning for his third season onboard our ship, forward Jamie is back with us for 26/27!
A skilled player who shows great dedication to the team by travelling over from Northern Ireland every week to be a reliable member of our squad. We are very greatful for his time and efforts as he really adds to our strength on the ice. Despite the travel, his dedication doesn't waver.
He's got that Pirate passion for sure!

"I’m really looking forward to being back next season, we had something special towards the end of last season, with a great group of guys and a special bunch of fans, we hope to build on from last season!"

Welcome back RYAN CAMPBELL!

Joining us for his second season onboard the Pirate Ship, forward Ryan is back!
He quickly established himself as an important part of the team last season and settled in quickly with his team mates both on and off the ice, like he had always been there. His style of play really suits our team and we are delighted to have him back for 26/27!

"Excited to be signing with the Pirates for my second season. Last year we proved we were a team who can compete with the best in the league and caused a few upsets. I’m confident we can improve on this and strive for greater achievements this year."

Welcome to Paisley, LIAM DANSKIN!

25 year old Defenceman Liam is a product of the Fife Junior set up, and also spent a season at the Ontario Hockey Academy in Canada.
Returning to Scotland, Liam began his SNL career with the Kirkcaldy Kestrels and also played with the Murrayfield Racers.
Liam joins us coming most recently from the Solway Sharks in the NIHL, and has also played in recent years with both Hull Seahawks and the Glasgow Clan.
We are delighted to have Liam with us and strengthening our blue line this season.

"I’m really excited to join the Pirates this season and push for success. I know a few of the lads so will be good to be playing along side them.
After speaking to a few people the fans get some great credit so i'm sure playing infront and for them will be as fun as I’ve heard too."

🚨 TIME CAPSULE ICE RINK - UPDATE

Papers for the full meeting of North Lanarkshire Council due take place next Thursday are now available and unfortunately they are recommending that councillors approve the plans to redevelop the ice rink into a play and activity zone.

This is despite the huge public outcry, the testimonies about how the facility has changed lives often for the most marginalised, and indeed that 78 percent of respondents to the council’s own engagement exercise expressed a desire to retain the rink.

MARK HIGGINS returns!

Familiar face and D-man Mark is back in the homeland and back where he belongs 🏴‍☠️
Following a season away in the USA with Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings, our former Pirate and former Lightning Pirates under 19s Captain has learned a lot, strengthened his game in the States and he is ready to show us what he has to offer.
Before heading stateside, Mark had earned his place as a well valued member of our team and we are delighted to have him back on the Pirate Ship.

"I’m really glad to be back and signing for the Pirates. I can’t wait for the season to start and I think it will be a good one"
