A quick shout out to some supporters of the up-and-coming Weston Outcasts S.A.C Midweek 3 Match Series at Aust. 👏👏

If you haven't got involved yet, get in touch with James Madsen on 07900651071 to book your place! The first of the matches is kicking off this Monday coming so don't leave it too late.

New for this year, we're putting together a 'Random Blanker' prize for each match comprising of some Arno Hooks and Anglex goodies. Even if you blank, a prize could still be heading your way. At the end of each match we'll collate any blanks and draw a winner the following day. Hooks, swivels, tripod bits and more for the lucky winner of each draw!

Separately, there will also be a raffle for each match to raise funds to support Weston Outcasts SAC. A fantastic Sunset Fishing prize will be up for grabs! Tickets will be available before each match. Contact James for more info, be quick there will be limited tickets available.

Just a week to go before the final match of the 2006 Reel Fun Fishing Summer League.

The penultimate match in the series and a very tough affair it was too! With bites at a premium it was crucial to get one to stick as we get down to the knitty gritty in the series. The all-important draw playing a part as usual.

The Zziplex Bullet GT is highly regarded as a top-tier, powerful, versatile, and purposeful rod, often described as a “perfect” rod for handling heavy seas, strong tides, and w**d.

Featuring a powerful butt for excellent power transfer and a sensitive glass biased tip for bite detection. The 7’9” tip has a wonderful full flowing action.

Sometimes called Zziplex M4GT’s big brother, the Zziplex Bullet GT is renowned for its superior power and confidence in heavy wind and stormy conditions.

The Zziplex Bass GT is an 11’ 8″ (3.55m) equal section rod with sensitive, predominantly high tensile glass fibre tips to show subtle bites. The tip blends seamlessly into the butt where energy storage can be translated into easy casting.

The GT is very comfortable to use and develops a smooth flowing cast with very little effort. The design cleverly turns effort into distance with maximum efficiency.

The bite detection is surreal as you would expect from both the choice of blended materials and the original designer’s expertise in composite technology.

A classic sporting rod optimised for easy handling over long sessions that favours both mobile and static fishing from a rod casting metal and aerodynamic resin lures ranging from 2oz to 4oz (60 grams to 120 grams).

The CT is slightly stiffer than the GT version that casts further than you would expect from such a lightweight and slim rod. Very responsive tip for indicative bite detection.

A classic sporting rod optimised for easy handling over long sessions that favours both mobile and static fishing from a rod casting metal and aerodynamic resin lures ranging from 2oz to 5oz (60 grams to 140 grams).
