A big thank you to all of the Butchers sponsors for their support once again this summer as we took young Welsh rugby players to a number of Elite 7s events across Ireland, England, Gibraltar and Wales! Exposing them to elite level 7s against quality opposition.

We now focus on taking the group to play at the Emirates Dubai 7s in just over 10 weeks in the Men’s International Invitational competition against teams from around the World.

Norton's are looking for additional Heavy Plant Fitters to join our team, based from our yard in Ystradgynlais South Wales. The role is for workshop and mobile works, to help keep our plant, equipment and machinery running safely, efficiently and tip top performance.

The role will be responsible for:

- Servicing, maintaining and repairing various machine types and manufacturers
- Diagnostics, fault finding and carrying out effective repairs
- Workshop maintenance and servicing
- Onsite breakdowns and repairs
- Completing job cards, service reports and maintenance records
- Working closely and interacting well with our other fitters, parts and management
- Supporting the wider (company) team and contributing to a positive and harmonious environment

Previous experience in working on various items of plant, equipment and diesel engined machinery is essential for this role.

Candidate must hold a valid UK driver’s licence for a car. Holding a minimum Level NVQ qualification is preferable, though not essential. Time served experience would be taken into consideration.

Our workshop is a purpose built facility.

The position is full time Mon-Sat. Normal weekday hours are 07:00-17:00. Weekend hours are Saturdays only 07:00-12:00.

Overtime payable. Competative remuneration package. Weekly paid. Company vehicle provided.
