🍺⛏️ CROFTY MINERS REUNION 2026 ⛏️🍺

📅 Friday 27th November 2026
🕖 7pm
📍 Heathcoat's Social Club

It's that time of year again for our annual get-together of Crofty miners, past and present!

Sadly, we've lost a few of our mining colleagues this year. ❤️ This evening is a chance to remember those no longer with us, share a few stories, raise a glass and enjoy a b**r or two in their memory. 🍻

We're hoping Cornish Metals will kindly sponsor some pasties for the occasion! 🥟

All current Crofty miners are, as always, very welcome.

And this isn't just for Crofty! We're inviting old tin miners from across Cornwall to join us, including our friends from:

⚒️ Wheal Jane
⚒️ Geevor
⚒️ Pendarves
⚒️ Wellington
⚒️ Concord

And anyone else who has spent time underground in Cornwall's great mining industry.

Whether you've worked together, shared a shift, or simply have a few good old mining stories to tell, come along.

Let's get together, remember our mates, celebrate our mining heritage and enjoy a proper Cornish miners' evening.

🍺 ONE INDUSTRY – MANY MINES – ONE BIG MINING FAMILY! 🍺

Please spread the word and tag any former miners you know. The more the merrier!

⛏️❤️

Join us for our next Weirdy Beardies meeting on Bonfire Night.

📅 Thursday 5th November 2026

⏰ 7:30pm

📍 Heathcoat’s Social Club, Pool

🍻☕ Bring your stories, bring your memories and bring anything interesting you've dug out of the past!

🪨 Got an old mineral specimen?

⚒️ A mining artefact?

🗺️ An old mine plan?

📸 A photograph of long-forgotten workings?

📚 An old mining book?

Bring it along and tell us the story behind it! 🔦👀

👷‍♂️ Ex-miners from Cornwall and beyond are especially welcome, along with current South Crofty miners and anyone with an interest in our incredible mining heritage.

Don't worry if you're not a miner or explorer.

Partners and guests can duck the rock breaking chat and head into the main hall for the BIG PRIZE BINGO! 🎟️🎉

🍻 B**r flowing

☕ Coffee brewing

⛏️ Mining stories being told.

So grab your miners' lamp, your and your favourite bit of Cornish mining history and come along.

Everyone welcome.
