And here's the list for CANDY 2 NORTH! 🏉🔥

The line-up for the League 2026/27 has been confirmed, and we can't wait to get back out there and compete against some fantastic clubs from across the region.

New challenges, old rivalries, big away days, and plenty of rugby to look forward to. The fixtures may still be to come, but the excitement is already building at Ponteland RFC.

We look forward to hosting the teams at Ponteland RFC and making the 2026/27 season one to remember.

Incredibly proud to recognise some of our volunteers from Ponteland RFC at the Northumberland RFU End of Season Celebration last week.

Congratulations to those who were recognised and attended - Emma Freer, Emma Twinning, Emily Robson, Neve Fisher, Amie Johnson, Jo Moller, Cheryl Strutt, and Jonathan Strutt - for the time, energy, and commitment they give week in, week out to make our club great.

Volunteers are the heartbeat of grassroots rugby - from running teams and supporting matchdays to the countless unseen hours that keep everything moving behind the scenes. This recognition is well deserved and we owe all of our volunteers here at Ponteland RFC a massive Thank You for everything they do for the club. 👏

A huge thank you also goes to and Rugby Football Club for your recognition and hospitality.

🏉 League Update for 2026/27 🏉

We’re please to see that Ponteland RFC will be competing in the newly reformed North East Counties 1 league next season.

As part of the new league structure introduced by the RFU, second teams are now able to participate within the RFU league pyramid. We’re delighted to welcome Tynedale Raiders into the competition as one of the clubs joining the division under these new arrangements.

An exciting new chapter lies ahead, with fresh challenges, new opposition, and plenty to look forward to both on and off the field.

Stay tuned for more updates on fixtures, league line-ups, and pre-season preparations.
