Tonight we welcomed another fantastic local grassroots side, GlassHoughton Welfare U10s, to our ADP Friday Nights.

It was another brilliant evening played in great spirits, with players, coaches and parents all contributing to a fantastic atmosphere and a real community feel for some Friday night football.

A special mention to both sets of players — the kids were absolutely brilliant throughout, showing a superb attitude, real effort, and great respect for the game. They all did their teams proud and represented themselves excellently both on and off the pitch.

A big thank you to GlassHoughton for coming down, playing some excellent football and helping create another great night at A1 Football Factory. We wish you all the best and look forward to welcoming you back again soon. ⚽️ 👊

🏆 WEDNESDAY NIGHT PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 🏆

Congratulations to Net6 an Chill, who are crowned this season’s Wednesday Night Premier League Champions! 👏⚽

They finished level on points with All Stars, both ending the campaign with an impressive 27 points, but Net6 an Chill edged the title on goal difference after a huge 33-7 victory over Knottla FC in the final round.

Unfortunately, the title race wasn’t decided quite how we’d have liked. All Stars were awarded a 5-0 victory after Prince of Wales FC cancelled at late notice, meaning one of the closest battles we’ve had wasn’t settled entirely on the pitch.

Final night results:
⚽ Muller Reus 11-7 VARicose Veins FC
⚽ Net6 an Chill 33-7 Knottla FC
⚽ Prince of Wales FC 0-5 All Stars (walkover)

Final Standings:

With over 20 children attending our new Pan Disability session, it’s really starting to feel like a team. The players and coaches are working hard together each week, building confidence, developing skills, and creating genuine friendships and connections both on and off the pitch.

It’s a session that makes us incredibly proud to be a part of , and seeing the relationships grow between the children and coaches is something really special.
