A young, exciting forward with both age-grade and senior representative honours to his name, Max joins us from Huntingdon and adds even more quality, energy and ambition to an already exciting young squad.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS

Well… we’ve tried to keep this quiet for as long as possible, but with all the excitement surrounding Ellie lately, we thought it was finally time to let the cat out of the bag…

We are absolutely DELIGHTED to announce that following her departure from Harlequins, Ellie Kildunne has agreed terms and officially signed for our Women’s Team at St Ives Rugby Club!

After intense negotiations (one WhatsApp message and a promise of post-match chips), Ellie cited our incredible facilities, unmatched atmosphere, and the chance to experience rugby at its true grassroots best as key reasons behind the move.

Speaking about the signing, Ellie said:

“I just couldn’t turn down the opportunity to play in front of the famous St Ives faithful… plus I heard the clubhouse is decent.”

Our coaching team are excited to see her slot into the squad this season, although there are already rumours she may struggle to get ahead of some of our current stars…

In all seriousness though… with the buzz around women’s rugby and players like Ellie inspiring the next generation, it’s a brilliant time to celebrate the growth of the game

(And before her agent calls us… yes, this is very much a bit of fun 😅)
