SENIORS INVITATIONAL 2027 FORMAT:
January will see the return of the Seniors Invitational under a new expanded format. 12 players aged 50 years or over who have competed in at least one Legends Tour event in the past will be invited to play for the £300 first prize [increase from £250] and trophy, which Steven Waldron won in 2026. The players will be split into four groups of three, each playing two best-of-3 matches with 1st position in each going through to the semi-finals. Two points for a victory. If players are tied upon group conclusion, the semi-final line-up will be decided by frame difference, then head-to-head. To ensure all matches are 'live', Player 'A' will play 'Player 'B' in the first match, with the loser playing Player 'C' in the second match. Finally, winner from first match will play Player 'C' before the points tally is calculated. The last four and final will be best-of-3 frames. Entry will remain at £20 and the action will be at the Court Club, Peterborough.
