What made you kick start your journey?
I was feeling so unhealthy on the verge of getting type two diabetes, had high cholesterol, no energy and was unhappy every day with getting out of breath from walking up the stairs. I decided I needed a change in my lifestyle otherwise it was just gonna get worse.
What advice would you give to someone starting their fitness journey?
Just do it, I know first hand how hard it is to start and having PCO’s I knew it was gonna be harder and had always been yo-yo dieting, but once you start and see results whether that is on the scales or off the scales as I didnt see the scales move much when I started but had more energy and my clothes were getting loose you get the bug and wont regret it.
Whats your top tip?
My top tip would be take the photos every week of your progress whether its big or small, it changes your mentally as overtime you’ll start to see the difference and the amazing things your body is doing.
How has netfit help with your weight loss so far?
Netfit has been amazing in supporting my journey with weightloss, I have lost another 2 stone since starting and even if I have a “bad” week the support I get from the staff and ladies in netfit is great and doesnt make you feel ashamed for the slip up. The challenges each week have helped massively with understanding weightloss even more and what I need to do to reach my goal, its just a fun environment to be in and makes loosing weight that little bit easier ❤️
