Challenging afternoon at the Gosling session today. All our young goslings did very well developing their skills with sailing an upwind downwind course.

Next Gosling session is on the 12th September!

We are running an RYA First Aid course on the 26th September. A one day session which covers all of the usual first aid subjects but from a boating perspective.

It also meets the requirements of RYA qualifications such as Dinghy Instructor.

Another great Saturday afternoon for our Gosling sailors! ⛵

Ellie and Rowan spent the afternoon practising sailing upwind in the RS Teras.

They have both come a long way in such a short space of time, and it's great to see the progress they are making.

They even managed the usual swim and had a go at a dry capsize! Great work, both of you! 👏

Our next session is from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm on 15th September! Keep an eye on the club website for more details.

There’s still spaces for our Youth Summer Camp next week!

Booking is now open for our Youth Summer Camp running from 3rd to 7th August.

Summer Camp is a fun packed week for youth sailors with an RYA Stage 2 Certificate. The week includes sailing development, wind surfing, wing surfing, spinnaker sailing, high performance catamaran sailing and much more! Off the Water we enjoy camping with evening games and entertainment with a fun and enjoyable atmosphere!

You can book by the day or for the whole week. Free camping for the whole family is available on-site.

Another great afternoon for the Goslings in some gusty, challenging conditions.

Five Goslings took to the water, sailing a combination of Picos and RS Teras in lively, blustery winds. The gusts kept everyone on their toes, and all our Goslings went for a swim at some point - but every one of them finished with a smile on their face. It was brilliant to see how resilient they were, keeping calm, getting back into their boats, and continuing to develop their skills even in tougher, windier conditions

Next session: 1st August

Followed by Summer Camp week, goslings will be running fun activites each afternoon.
