WOW. What a weekend
This weekend i was racing in BRSCC at
Brands Hatch with Shaws Motorsport
In both of my races I ended up finishing 1st in my class which I am so happy with, but couldn't have done without my amazing team, thank you shaws for the great car and great support across the entire weekend
I learnt so much and im looking forward to the rest of this season
Well done to both Harrison Morrow for your win and to Graham Payne for a great drive and your class win

Classic formula Ford silverstone finals (10th - 12th October 2025)

Thank you again to Shaws Motorsport for welcoming me into their team for my first classic formula Ford race weekend on the Silverstone national circuit.

Friday practice was only my 2nd ever day in The car so I was very happy to increase my seat time.

It was a large grid of 34 cars for qualifying on Saturday morning and I was happy to finish 26th for my first time.

During race one on Saturday I managed to get up to 19th but sadly then had a spin which sent me down the order but luckily had quite a few laps to gain some of the places back again finishing 23rd.

We had to wait a while for our second race on Sunday afternoon. The first few laps went well and I was once again trying to move forward. Sadly however on entering copse corner 3 cars were fighting ahead of me and one of them spun directly ahead and I was unable to avoid him taking my nose cone off. Unfortunately due to the nose coming off we later realised the radiator was damaged as the car started to overheat so I retired the car to avoid any engine damage.

We were gutted that we couldn’t finish the second race but also proud of what I had achieved for my first race weekend.

Thank you again to Mark, Sara and everybody Shaws Motorsport for making this weekend happen, also thank you to everybody at the HSCC for welcoming me into the series and to all the drivers for making it a great first experience. Lastly well done to Ollie for winning the class B championship for the team.

Looking forward to getting out in the car again for some testing in the hope I can do more races in 2026.

Day 1 of first classic formula Ford race at Silverstone. Big grid of 34. Qualified 26th, got up to 19th at one point in race but had a spin which dropped me down but managed to get it back up to 23rd so a respectable finish for my first ever car race. Onto tomorrow now for race 2.

ST EVAL OPEN PRO RACE (Saturday 13th September 2025)

Back to the heats format this month and it didn’t disappoint with some great racing.

With the heat results of 2nd, 1st, 1st and 1st the points put me on joint top of the leaderboard going into the A final. For the whole final I had some great battles with Dan Richards but managed to keep him behind to come across the line in 1st. Thanks Dan for another great final.

Thanks St Eval Kart Circuit, Cornwall. UK for another fab open race and well done to Isabel Hamilton Racing for 3rd in the B final.

Wont be able to take part in the October open race due to another racing commitment but looking forward to being back at St Eval for their 3 hour endurance race on 18th October.

ST EVAL OPEN PRO RACE (Saturday 9th August 2025)

Something a bit different this month where the format was more of a mini endurance (10 min qualifying and 50 min race). I enjoyed this format and hopefully St Eval Kart Circuit, Cornwall. UK will repeat this in the future.

I qualified in 2nd place and for the majority of the race the the top 4 drivers (Sullivan, Whear, Richards and Nathan) were swapping positions and nose to tail.

We had fun coming through the pack and lapping the other karts with about 20 mins to go and thanks to all the drivers as there was no issues getting through for the most part.

In the closing stages sadly Richards had a kart issue which forced him to change karts but he still managed to maintain 4th place.

I was closing in on Sullivan towards the final laps but wasn’t able to quite catch him but happy to finish 2nd which is another solid result. Well done to max on the win and Nathan for 3rd.

Onto the next round in September.

FORMULA FORD TEST DAY (Silverstone National circuit - Friday 8th August 2025)

Always wanted to try a single seater and was thrilled to be given the chance of a test day with Shaws Motorsport with last week. Had an amazing day and thank you to Sara, Mark and Co for all your advice and help to make it a special day.

Obviously something new to get used to but as the day progressed I felt more and more comfortable and loved driving the car.

Lovely to also spend the day with fellow drivers Graham Payne and Grace Bates.

CLAY PIGEON (19th/20th July 2025) - round 5 of Daniel Ricciardo Series UK

Due to needing a break and then family illness during the first half of 2025 this is the first DRS round we have got to this year. We haven’t raced since October so we came with no expectations and just wanted to have some fun.

Saturday practice went well and I had good pace. We went into qualifying not changing anything as we were happy. We managed to qualify in 2nd place although sadly we were excluded after a technical infringement.

Going into Sunday we were obviously on the back foot but had nothing to lose, the rain was threatening all day but never came. after starting at the back in 14th I was able to carve through the field to finish 4th which was a fantastic result.

Started the pre-final in 4th and managed to gain a place to finish 3rd so another good result.

As we had no points from qualifying we had to start at the back again - by this point the rain had come so we went out on full wets and for half the race that worked well getting from 14th - 8th. As the track dried up though we couldn’t progress any further with wet tyres on but all in all I was very happy with how the weekend went considering it was our first race of the year.
