Some things in life feel hard to start but you always feel better afterwards.
Think about cleaning your house. You put it off all week. You really don't want to do it. Then you finally get going and an hour later you're sitting in a spotless room wondering why you made such a big deal out of it.
It's the same with cooking a proper meal. You could just order something. It would be easier. But when you actually cook, eat well and don't feel like rubbish afterwards, you're always glad you did it.
Sorting out your finances. Nobody wakes up excited to go through their bank statements. But once you've done it and you know where you stand, that weight off your shoulders is worth every minute you spent avoiding it.
Having a difficult conversation you've been putting off. Terrifying before you do it. Almost always a relief once it's done.
Exercise is exactly the same. Almost nobody feels like training before they start. You're tired, you're busy, the sofa is right there. But nobody ever finishes a session and thinks I wish I hadn't done that. Every single time you feel better afterwards. More energy, better mood, clearer head.
The pattern is always the same. The resistance is before you start, never after. The hardest part is getting through the door. Once you're in, you're fine. You already know this because it's true for everything else in your life.
If you've been putting off getting started with your fitness, you already know how you'll feel once you do. Link in bio to book a free taster session.
