📣 Senior training sessions aged 16+ starting in November! 📣

Whether you are a competitive netballer looking for extra training to go alongside your club or franchise training or just a social netballer and looking for some training to help you hone in on your skills for game day, this could be for you.

Starting in November we are running a seniors 16+ session out of Mansfield rugby club every other Saturday evening 5-6:30pm.

Sessions will be structured similar to our Friday night performance with a mix of large group game based drills then building in to game play towards the end of the session.

If you want to push yourself and learn in a high intensity environment all while enjoying yourself with your friends on court this is the place for you.

👻 Halloween camp 🎃

What a great camp yesterday with so much talent on display. Well done to all that attended and the effort you put in to the day it was a fab training environment. Combining fun, drills, games, circuits and match play made the day enjoyable for all.

Special mention to Mimi who won trainer of the day and Koko who won most improved. Well done girls very well deserved! 💪🏻

Coach Meg had a Saturday game this weekend which allowed her to go up to the EIS in Sheffield to support and watch lots of the girls and parents play in club fixtures.

❓❓Is your timing linking up with a shooter slightly off?

Try this to see if you can move in sync as a unit.

It is important when linking up with a shooter that there is always an offload option for them. Usually one ball side and one far side.

✨Offer and re-offer will be your best friend here✨

Reposition to a better place on the circle edge if you aren’t used and try to centralize as much as possible to the top of the circle as this is the best place to feed from.

Don’t stand directly behind the GS as an option when they have the ball as they can’t see you.

Balance the court, have a look where your other midi is, we don’t want you on top of eachother.

As the shooter in this drill - when you don’t have the ball either pre lim and then move on to ball when needed. Or if you can add a defender in the circle and practice finding the body after each offer and going back on to a hold.

Mid-court - your job is to work that ball in, however many passes it takes. Use your speed, change of direction and smarts to take the ball in. Sharp angles and definite moves will be very efficient.

A great drill for nailing those attacking connections and good to practice in a small group session with team mates.
