This week is mental health week and the theme is 'be kind'. It's a simple thing to do and often very easy to be kind to others but it can be harder to be kind to yourself. Too often we are self-critical, comparing ourselves to others and allowing negative thoughts about ourselves to prevent us from embracing life. SO this week, I would like you to notice when you are being self-critical and saying negative things about yourself: when you notice this happening, acknowledge it and then ask yourself if you would say these things to someone else. You wouldn't. So be your own friend, appreciate yourself and speak kindly to yourself. You are good enough. π§‘π§‘
