September is looking like a huge month for us at Northampton Sileby Rangers FC – with seven big matches, five of which are at home here at the O'Riordan Bond Stadium NN3 6FR

Four important league games and three big Cup ties….lets have it!

This week sees two home games with tomorrow Eynesbury Rovers FC travelling over to us for a 7.45pm Kick Off in what should be a competitive game – before our huge FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round, again at the O’Riordan Bond Stadium, this Saturday against high flying Step Three team Anstey Nomads FC, this really will be a cracker

Can Sileby take a huge three points tomorrow to push us up the league – and can we nail a 'giant killing' on Saturday to take us into the FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round for the first time in our near sixty year history. Don’t ask why but let’s quote some Shakespeare to get us fired up..

‘Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them…’

Great away win at Coventry Sphinx in the league yesterday with Northampton Sileby Rangers coming out on top 3-0 (apologies for some typos and language in the video – we were excited!)

Goals from Harley Mallard, Romeo Ingman and Brett Solkhon sealed a hard fought victory in ‘interesting’ conditions with a late red card not dampening what was a good all round team effort

We are a young team, with individual flair working hard to fight as one team, together we can achieve great things….onto Wednesday evening back at the O'Riordan Bond Stadium against Eynesbury Rovers – Kick Off 7.45pm…it’s a big big game!

Great video footage from our away league game last night at high flying Desborough Town FC

We got off to a great start with a screamer from Romeo Ingman but let Desborough back in with a soft equaliser before half time

It was the first 10 minutes of the second half that did us with Desborough right at it from the start scoring two quick goals – to win at this level we need to be right on it for the full 90 minutes plus

We had our chances as the game was closed out with Luca Iaciofano scoring a second and we pressed to the end but to no avail. We are playing good football but we need to fight as one, keep throwing punches and keep taking them without them putting us off our stride. A young team, we will continue to improve as we look ahead to an exciting away league game at Coventry Sphinx on Saturday – lets bounce back Sileby!
