💙 WHAT A SUMMER! TO OUR WONDERFUL FUNKEY FAMILIES… THANK YOU 💙
As summer begins to draw to a close and lots of boys and girls get ready to head back to school, we just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful parents and guardians who chose to send your children along to Funkey this summer!
From our home base at Jordanstown Sports Village to our camps in different locations, we have had an absolutely incredible summer; with multi-sport, football and hockey camps, fully booked weeks and record-breaking numbers along the way.
And while those numbers are fantastic, what means the most to us is the joy we’ve had welcoming so many children through our doors. As coaches, we genuinely love what we do, and our biggest hope is that every child who comes to Funkey feels included, cared for, safe and, most importantly, happy. Of course, fun is at the heart of everything we do, after all ‘FUN-IS-KEY’ 😉 but creating an environment where children feel comfortable, valued and able to be themselves is just as important to us.
A massive thank you to our amazing team of staff too. They have worked incredibly hard throughout the summer and continually gone above and beyond to make sure every child has had the best possible experience, while providing the care, encouragement and positivity that makes our camps what they are.
To every child who joined us, whether you were with us for a day, a week, several weeks, or popped up throughout the summer, thank you for making our summer so special. We have loved having you with us and hope you’ve made some brilliant memories along the way.
As we head into a new school year, we wish all of our campers the very best, whether you’re starting P1, moving up through primary school, or making that big transition from P7 into Year 8. We hope it’s a fantastic year ahead for each and every one of you, and we really hope to see you back at Funkey again soon!
