Robson Soo Bahk Do Belt Testing in Newry: A Day of Discipline and Triumph!
“Where there is preparation, there is no fear.” 🥋 These profound words from Grandmaster Hwang Kee resonated deeply during our recent Soo Bahk Do belt testing event in Newry. It was a day filled with unwavering focus, incredible dedication, and the inspiring spirit of our entire Robson Soo Bahk Do family.

From our spirited Mini Ninjas taking their first confident steps, to our Juniors showcasing their growing mastery of forms and sparring, and our Adults/Instructors demonstrating advanced techniques with precision and power – every participant embodied the true essence of Soo Bahk Do. We witnessed impressive conditioning, intricate forms (Hyung), powerful bag work, and dynamic sparring (Dae Ryun) that highlighted years of diligent training.

But beyond the techniques, it was the atmosphere that truly shone. A powerful blend of intense concentration and heartwarming community support filled the air. Parents watched with pride, and instructors offered encouraging nods, creating a nurturing environment where every achievement, big or small, was celebrated. The moment a new yellow belt was tied on a young student’s waist was a poignant reminder that every belt is earned, never simply given.
