We’re really excited to be starting a brand-new 4-Week Amazons Ladies Kickboxing Introduction Course from Wednesday 16th September.

And to kick off this next chapter of Amazons properly…

The full 4 weeks are completely FREE.

We’re also delighted to have Amanda joining me on the coaching team.

Amanda is a 1st Degree Black Belt with over 10 years of martial arts experience and has previously refereed with WAKO — the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations, an international governing body for kickboxing.

She’ll be teaching alongside me as we continue building Amazons into a really welcoming, supportive place for women in Newry.

And just to be clear — this is not only for women who are already fit or have done martial arts before.

Quite the opposite.

If you’ve been thinking:

“I'm not fit enough yet.”

“I’ve never tried kickboxing.”

“I’d feel nervous walking in.”

You can come along, start at your own pace, learn something new, get fitter, build confidence and meet a great group of women along the way.

Wishing the very best of luck to all of our students taking part in their **belt tests today** 👏

You’ve trained hard, listened, improved, and pushed yourselves every week — now it’s time to step onto the mats, give your best, and show how far you’ve come.

Today is also extra special as we celebrate our **Dan presentations** — our black belt students being recognised for an incredible milestone in their martial arts journey. 🥋⚫

A black belt is never just a belt.

It represents years of discipline, commitment, respect, perseverance, and the courage to keep going when things get difficult.

To everyone testing today — trust your training, stay focused, and enjoy the moment.

To everyone receiving their Dan presentation — be proud. You’ve earned this, and you are helping inspire the next generation of RFKC students.

🥊 PLEASE JOIN US IN WELCOMING AMANDA TO THE RFKC TEAM! 🥊

We’re delighted to officially welcome Amanda to the Robson’s Family Karate instructor team.

Amanda will be working alongside me as we continue to develop and grow our Amazons Ladies Kickboxing programme, and I’m genuinely excited about what she’s going to bring to the team.

Amanda brings a fantastic amount of experience with her:

🥋 1st Degree Black Belt
🥊 Over 10 years of martial arts experience
🏆 Previous experience as a WAKO referee

Many of you will already know Amanda from around the school, but it’s brilliant to now have her stepping into an official teaching role with us.

I’ll still be very much involved in teaching Amazons, with Amanda joining me so we can give the programme even more energy, support and attention as it continues to grow.

This is another really positive step forward for RFKC, and I’m looking forward to seeing Amanda develop in her new role and become an even bigger part of the team.
